Selected Chicken Karahi
I belongs to Pakistan , all over cities chicken karahi is favourite to all.🍲
Traditional Chicken karahi’s distinguishing aspects are its rich, tomatoey base and a fragrant finishing of green chili peppers, cooriendor, and slivers of ginger.
Every age person love it🙅🍗 beside tasty 😋 it also digest easily also.
Ingredients
List of added ingredients are mentioned below as :
1/3 cup oil
1 onion chopped
1 whole chicken skinless and cut into 14-16 pieces
1/3 cup plain yogurt
11/2 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander seeds crushed
1 1/2 tsp kashmiri lal mirch or cayenne
3/4 -1 tsp salt taste and adjust
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 tomatoes chopped
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup coriander chopped
2-3 green chilies slit lengthwise
Consistency method of cooking
Here is going to share step by step method of Chicken karahi 🍲
- 1st step
In hot oil , added onions 🌰 and let it brown
- 2nd step
Add chicken , garlic🧄 paste , let it fired and brown
Now they are golden brown and chicken is also half cooked. Add some water. Steemed it for 15 min.
- 3rd Step
Later on , dish out chicken 🍗 , add all the spices and other ingredients . Than after heating , mash them continuesly with spoon
Mashed Masala equally
- 4th step
Put into it chicken mixed it well
- 5th step
Add yougert and cooked it untill it leaves oil
Cover the cap of Karahi and steemed it for 10min.
Ready to dish out and presentation
Now it's time to dish out 🍲 garnishing with Green and red 🌶️chilli and🍃 coriander .
Note Down
This is moderately spiced as per Pakistani taste buds. But, if you are not use to spicy Pakistani food.📝
Then skip red chili powder altogether and also cut green chilli paste to half for a less spicy Karahi and add coriander.
