Hi friend steemians of @steemwomensclub how are you today? hope you are fine. For today I'm in a diligent mood and since I don't have any snacks at home to eat, I finally took the initiative to make a cake called Steamed Mocha Sponge, of course, made by me @tiazakaria.

Actually anyone can make a cake with simple ingredients, easy to get, cheap and also healthy, of course, to make everything that is necessary or really needed it is an intention if there is no intention, then of course we can't do anything, then what is needed is determination and perseverance as well as thoroughness. Let's just go straight to the recipe for Steamed Mocha Sponge, Please read until the end, don't forget to try this recipe that I share.

Materials needed

  • 70 grams of medium protein flour
  • 2 medium size eggs
  • 75 grams of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon SP
  • a pinch of salt
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mocca dye

How to make

  • Heat the pan over low heat and cover the lid with a napkin
  • Enter the eggs, salt, sugar, and SP into the container, then mixer until fluffy and white
  • Next enter the flour that has been sifted with a mixer on low speed until well blended
  • Next, add the vegetable oil to the mixer again at low speed until well blended
  • Then add 1/2 teaspoon of mocca coloring, stir again on low speed until well blended and turn off the mixer
  • Then stir the dough back using a spatula so that there is no oil deposit on the bottom, this is one of the causes of the cake to be hard or tough
  • Put the dough into a baking dish that has been smeared with oil, tap the pan so that the air trapped in it comes out
  • Then put the dough into the preheated pan
  • Steam the cake dough for about 30 minutes
  • If it's been 30 minutes open the steamer, pierce the cake using a skewer if there is no dough sticking to the puncture it indicates that the cake is cooked, turn off the stove and let the cake cool
  • When the cake is cold, remove the cake from the tin, cut it into pieces and serve it to your beloved family

So, that's the Steamed Mocha Sponge from me @tiazakaria even though with two eggs and without baking soda or baking powder the cake expands perfectly and the texture is very soft, the sweetness is just right and the aroma is also very tempting.

I also want to share a few tips for those of you who like to make cakes so that the cake can be removed from the still hot baking sheet, you need to make a greased baking sheet with the following ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp medium protein flour and,
  • 1 tbsp margarine

How to make :

  • Mix all the ingredients until evenly distributed
  • And immediately spread the mixture of ingredients on the baking sheet that you will use. Good luck my dear friend.
