Accepting what is...

Today I was thinking about the times when I came to believe that life had no meaning. My analytical mind tried to find utility in the cycle of being born, growing, reproducing and dying; it seemed to me that being born to die, without any other option, was very cruel and when I added to this scenario the injustices that exist in this world, much worse. It seemed to me that we came here to extinguish a condemnation, because even if you have everything, it is very painful to know and even more to see that others suffer.

How did I overcome it? Accepting reality as it is, being grateful for what I get and stop thinking about it. I adhered to the idea that the divine surpasses human understanding and I was content. No matter how much we want to, we will not get the answers we are not ready to receive ahead of time. So I dedicated myself to be grateful for my stay here and to live the best way I can.

The truth is that when you are busy living with intensity, you are so busy that you don't have time to wander, achieving our goals and dreams requires passion, energy and dedication. When you have a purpose that moves you, you live happiness, which as they say, is not a destination, it is the attitude with which you walk the path.

There is a useful premise: If something has a solution, why do you care? And if it doesn't have a solution, why do you care? I love that logical reasoning. You have to take care of solving and what you can't, accept it and leave it in God's hands. Always doing everything that is possible.

Sometimes we complicate the simple, life is fascinating when we flow through it and not against the current, which does not mean that there will not be arduous struggles that test our endurance and forge our character. Being happy is an internal state and has nothing to do with what happens outside. There are those who, having more than the majority of the population, are unhappy, and those who, with a very difficult life, have much more to give, including a big smile and a willingness to help. The expression "I would be happy if..." does not apply.

Our well-being is a compendium of states of being such as inner peace, tranquility, spirituality, the feeling that we are doing the right thing, among many others, that fill our life with satisfaction. When we appreciate and value what we have, we are filled with joy and we have more and more reasons to be grateful.

And on whom does all this depend? Only on each one of us, even if we don't see it or understand it, no one is to blame for the way we assume life. It is better not to waste energy on so many ethereal things and dedicate ourselves to do our best to make good use of the opportunity we were given to be here.

Challenges are stimulating and achievements fill us with satisfaction. Let us see the glass half full and not half empty, let us learn to be happy with what we have and not unhappy for what we lack. From each small experience, our history is nourished, which becomes our footprint.
