Hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. I would like to thank @steemwomensclub for organizing different amazing contest every week. Today I'm sharing healthy recipe of chickpeas rice for this interesting contest.

Chickpeas are very nutritious and tasty. It's a great source of fiber, protein, carbohydrates and vitamins and their regular use make body strong. You can make many different recipes from it. My kids love chickpeas rice so I'm sharing my recipe with you.


INGREDIENTS


Ingredientsquantity
Chickpeas(boiled)250g
Rice500 g
Ginger garlic paste2tbsp
Cumin seeds1tsp
Bay leaves2-3
Cinnamon stick2-3
Clove4
Yougart100g
Chicken stock/cubes(optional)1-2cups
Saltas per taste
Mint2tbsp
Green chillies4-5
Oil5-6tb
Coriander powder1tsp

PROCEDURE


  • Take boiled chickpeas /or boiled overnight soaked chickpeas in water.

  • Take some oil in pan and add dried spices in it and sotey it for sometime.

  • Add garlic ginger paste to it and sotey it for sometime.

  • when garlic ginger turns brown add boiled chickpeas to the pan and fry it for sometime.

  • Add coriander powder, black pepper and green chillies to it and sotey it for sometime.

  • Wash rice nicely and soak it for 10min.

  • Add Yougart to the pan and fry it for sometime.

  • Add chicken stock or cubes in pan than add some water to the pan.

  • Add rice into the pan add appropriate water in pan according to the quantity of rice.

  • Add salt to the pan and cook it until it boil.

  • Cook rice on very low flame for 5-10min. Delicious chickpeas rice are ready to served.
