A wise person once told me that the first thing he checks out while in a home is the 'Kitchen'.
I greet you warmly.
I would be talking about a very essential aspect in our home, a-cannot-do-without section in every home... THE KITCHEN.
I would focus specifically on three aspects:
🥕 Arrangement
🍒 Equipping
🍓 Management of Stores
🥕 ARRANGEMENT
The kitchen, described as 'the heart of the home' and undeniably, it is truly the living centre of the home where the woman spends a greater portion of her time.
It is wise to stamp your own taste and personality upon that room to keep up with a cheerful, efficient and attractive working environment in which you or the whole family can enjoy.

Smooth wall surfaces are much more desirable for easy cleaning but could be augmented with other washable surfaces such as coloured tiles or plastic coated paper.
Plain white ceilings give light to any room but many do-it-yourself home decorators prefer designed coloured ceilings.
For floor coverings, there are a variety of options. Care must be taken for tiled coverings as when wet —they can be slippery.
The furnishings and fittings of the kitchen ought to be arranged to allow for free and unhampered movement as much as possible. Sinks, working tops and cooker should be arranged sequentially to shorten the steps required to move from one to another.
Many modernized kitchens have a dining-area, others prefer a separate dining area, in this case, the kitchen and dining area should not be far apart.
It is important that the kitchen should be quickly aired and freed from cooking smells. Windows should open easily to regulate air flow making the kitchen a pleasant room to work in.
🍒 EQUIPPING

Having planned a comfortable and efficient kitchen, the woman must also consider the equippment she needs to install and the items she will be needing to carry out her cooking.
Take note and follow these rules while purchasing equipments:
But the best quality which can be afforded. It is better to buy durable equipments than to opt for cheaper products which you will spend more replacing at the end of the day.
Choose items of suitable sizes to suit your kitchen and for the requirements of the family.
Choose equipments for their efficiency rather than for their attractive appearance.
Choose colours and finishes which blend with the general colour scheme of the kitchen.
🍓 MANAGEMENT OF STORES
Note that all goods should be replenished before the last portion is used. New jars, tins should be kept at the back of the storage section and should not be opened until the last of stock is consumed.
Keep all shelves tidily arranged and wiped clean. Keep goods which are not in frequent use in high shelves.
STORAGE OF FOODS
Store foods that are perishable in the refrigerator, if refrigerator is not available, use foils to preserve separately.
Empty packeted products into appropriate containers as soon as they are opened.
*Sort tinned goods according to their contents and stack them in order of use.
Store cakes and biscuits in separate airtight tins, so that the biscuit do not absorb moisture from the cake and become soft.
Remove fruits and vegetables from their wrappings and place in a vegetable rack in a ventilated position.
This Is all for today, untill when next, let me know your thoughts below, thank you.
