My Introduction to #SteemWomenClub Community

A pleasant day everyone! Despite the world's current condition, hope you are reached by this post in your best disposition.

I am overjoyed to have found this community where women,in this men-dominated world are equally given the opportunity to speak out.

By the way, I am a lawyer by profession and an empowered woman in this society. I grew up in an environment well- informed with the sad reality-- that man dominates over woman. While I may concede to this partly on the spiritual aspect, it does not mean that women's capacities and capabilities are disregarded and are left behind.

It is a common adage that, " A body has a different parts". Thus, men may be the hands or the feet, but along therewith, it requires a lot of functions where women plays a great role. Accordingly, women's contribution in the success in almost all fields should not be discredited.

It is for this reason, that it has been my calling to level the playing field for women. Even when I was still young, I strive to show off the best as a girl, a lady and a woman.

I joined the Karatedo sports when I was still 9 years old up until college where I reached the rank 2nd Dan Blackbelt.

Even now, I pursue this passion to teach kids and women alike to learn basic self defense.

Until now, I am investing my spare time to learn more skills and knowledge. I joined another kind of self defense skills which is a Filipino sport known as "Arnis".

And now, as a lawyer, I am using this profession to elevate and aid women in raising its status. I am a member of a LEGAD AID FOR WOMEN,INC. (LAW, INC.) - a non government organization consists of legal volunteers to help abused women fight for their cause against their husbands and perpetrators. In this group, we likewise educate women in the different parts of the Philippines with their rights as women.

Over all, I am loving this platform and community, as this advances the playing field for women all around the world. It allows us, women to show and prove that WE as WOMEN, are CAPABLE, POWERFUL AND EMPOWERED!

This is all for now, and I am so excited to share my advocacy to all and at the same time acquaint and learn from equally wonderful and empowered woman all over the world. Till then, let us all keep safe for us and our loved ones.
