Magandang buhay!!! (In Filipino, it's a wish of a beautiful life for everyone.) Hello to all the beautiful men and women of this wonderful community of the SteemWomen Club!!! Greetings of peace and love from the Philippines!!!

I am here once again to share one of my acts of kindness experience. Helping and giving could happen anywhere, anytime and in many different ways. In our littlest or grandest ways, we could be of help to strangers, to friends, to anyone.

As a public school teacher, one of my ultimate goals is to be a friend to my students, like a confidant, someone they could talk to, someone willing to listen. Teaching is so much fun and easier if you have your students listening to you like a friend and vice versa.

One of the most memorable experiences I had, before the pandemic strikes was when I baked pizza and cupcakes for my students. It was one of the best days of my life! I wouldn't forget their big smiles, their gratefulness and the hugs I recieved from them. It was one of the most heartwarming experiences ever.

I prepared at home my recipe of Banana Chocolate Chips Cupcakes and my Hawaiian Pizza. I was able to bake 80 pieces of cupcakes and 4 pans of pizzas. I just wanted to surprise my students from section Jade and Alexandrite by treating them with my homebaked goodies. I also bought some plastic cups and 6 bottles (2L) softdrinks to pair with the cupcakes and pizza.

I went to section Jade first, then to Alexandrite and surprised them with my presents. All those smiles and the surprise I saw in their eyes, those are very priceless. Before we started with our salo-salo, we prayed first to bless the food. And of course, we will not forget our pictures during the meal and even after we enjoyed our times together. All smiles and laughter over great company and food!!! I just wanted to make them feel that they are valued, appreciated and that they matter, all of them.

I always believe that kindness echoes. That when you do good to others, they too, are capable of helping others, and the chain goes on and never ends. And the world will only be filled with goodness, gratitude, kindness, empathy and humanity. That's why no matter how little the help or kindness we can give, let's keep doing it anyway. The world needs more of that.

Be the person that makes others feel included.
