MY DAILY BENEFIT - SEPTEMBER 8
The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are anyone who understand, who seek God. Psalms 14: 2

SEEKING GOD
It is always a beautiful experience when you seek God as there are so many benefits we enjoy as a result. We become sound spiritually, we are whole physically, we are more stable mentally and our faith level increases. You are constantly led by the spirit and you know what the will of God is for your life.

As a child of God, there are some things that you may not just experience unless you begin to seek God 2 Chronicles 7:14 says If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and SEEK MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

Here are 5 practical benefits you will enjoy when you begin to seek the face of God meditate on them and I trust God for a stirring in your heart that will drive you into his presence.

1. When you seek God, you will surely find him. The best out come of seeking God is to encounter him in a most unique way. One’s life is never the same once you encounter God. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; SEEK, AND YOU WILL FIND; knock, and it will be opened to you.

2. You get to have your personal desires met. This is almost a default that your desires are granted as you take pleasure in seeking God. Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he shall give you THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED TO YOU.

3. Deliverance - As God begins to be you primary concern, you will discover that you are set free from so many other concerns. Psalm 34:4 "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, And DELIVERED ME from all my fears.

4. When you seek God, you will lack nothing good. Psalm 34:10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord SHALL NOT LACK ANY GOOD THING.

5. Those who seek God live a life of prosperity. Job 8: 5-7 If you would earnestly seek God and make your supplication to the Almighty, if you were pure and upright, surely now he would awake for you, and PROSPER YOUR RIGHTFUL DWELLING PLACE though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.

Beloved, I challenge you today as David did to the children of Israel in 1st Chronicles 22:19, Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. I’m certain that daily benefits awaits as you do so. God bless you and keep walking in faith and obedience.
