Hope everybody is okay? I'm super excited about this contest that is been organised by @steemwomenclub and under the hastag #caredaywomenclub. I'm really happy to participate in this beautiful contest made by #steemwomenclub.
I will be teaching on how to make your organic black soap. This soap can be used by any skin types. This soap is made with natural plant extracts, vitamins & food supplements. Which will helps you to have a healthy and glowing skin. Always stay organic💯
So let's get started!
These are the recipe for making this organic black soap.
Ghana black soap 200g
Ghana ball soap 100g
Ozone soap 100g
kuli-kuli 5g
Orange peel powder 20g
Sandalwood powder 5g
Camwood powder 10g
neem powder 15g
Rice powder 10g
carrot powder 20g
Veg glycerin 100ml
Lemon juice 5ml
honey 50ml
Coconut oil 10ml
We measure in gram or measure in liters, make sure you add the powders before the oils. They should be added step by step the way I listed them.
Here is the preparation of the black soap.
STEP 1. Get a clean bowl and sterilize it with achocol or distilled water, to kill germs & bacteria from the bowl before getting started.
STEP 2. Dissolve your ghana black soap which is 200g in a bowl.
Add your ghana ball soap which is 100g because that is what will make your soap to lather or form very well. It also help the black soap to last for you when using it.
STEP 3. After that, you will add your ozone soap, which is 100g we are using the pink 50g & yellow 50g in this process, this soap is very good for the skin, it gives you a flawless skin and it's very active. I like using the pink & yellow ozone soap because its colour beautify your soap most times, we have different color of ozone soap, yellow, blue & pink. But you can use any of the ozone soap you see in your area.
STEP 4. Add your kuli-kuli which is 5g to the soap, it helps in taking care of ringworm, pimples and acne in the skin.
STEP 5. Add your orange peel powder which is 20g to the soap, this powder helps to lighten the skin when using it. It is also for exfoliating and smoothing the skin.
STEP 6. Add your sandalwood powder which is 5g into the soap. It helps in the treatment of sunburn & acne. So it is very good, you put it in the soap so that it will help to prevent it when going under the sun.
STEP 7. Add your camwood powder which is 10g to the soap. This ingredient helps in eradicating sunburn, eczema and others skin infection from the skin.
STEP 8. Add your neem powder which is 15g. This is very good for healthy skin when cure skin infections and itching from the skin also.
STEP 9. Add your rice powder which is 10g to the soap. This powder is an anti-aging component, which helps to reduce wrinkles and pigmentation. It helps in absorbing oil from the skin. it also help to lighten the skin too.
STEP 10. Add your carrot powder which is 20g, it helps to lighten the skin and making the skin glowing and healthier.
STEP 11. Add your vegetable glycerin which is 100ml to the soap. it makes the skin to be shining, healthy and soft. It works like coconut oil to the skin. vegetable glycerin is highly recommended for people with dry skin. We have two types of glycerin, which are: vegetable glycerin & whitening glycerin. vegetable glycerin doesn't whitening but whitening glycerin does. But you can use any one that you can get in your area.
STEP 12. Add your lemon juice which is 5ml to the soap, it helps to lighten the skin but it is not sun friendly because of the amount of acidic content in it. So most time it is optional. Please if you have sensitive skin don't bother to add it, just leave this step.
STEP 13. Add your honey which is 50ml to the soap, honey is very medicinal generally. It helps in moisturizing the skin, it also helps to heal the skin from inflammation. It makes the skin to be glowing and sparkling.
STEP 14. Add your coconut oil which is 10ml to the soap, coconut oil is a carrier oil and it is very necessary in making products because of the numerous benefits in it. Coconut oil is a great moisturizer which helps the skin to be very soft.
it's highly recommended for people with dry skin type.
Transfer the soap to a bigger bowl.
Note this down please, don't add water to this soap, even if you want to add water, it should be rose water or distilled Water. Because once you add ordinary water to it, bacteria are likely to enter except you add preservatives. I don't like adding water or preservatives in this soap because I don't want it to be watery. The oil will be enough for it because I want my soap paste to be fluffy. You can stick blend your soap and mix it very well.
This is my lightening & glowing soap. I hope you will love this soap, you can try it at home.

Wow!! This is great and you've explained the process all well. I think applying what you have explained I can have my own organic black soap. I know it will be a good one just seeing Neem powder as one of the ingredients. Thanks for sharing this and good luck in the contest

I have made soda before at school
I can't remember the chemicals that I use Exactly but my score was 10 of 50 I cried like a baby because it was like my effort went in vain, not to talk of the money I spend buying chemicals .
