Hello to all the friends of steemit, especially to the #steemwomensclub community, it is a pleasure to be here again sharing with you a new contest.

Hola a todo los amigos de steemit en especial a la comunidad #steemwomensclub, es un placer estar nuevamente aquí compartiendo con ustedes un nuevo concurso.

For me, the favorite city in my country is Mérida, because I have had the opportunity to visit the main cities of Venezuela and it is definitely this one that has made me completely in love. This beautiful city was founded in October 1558 and is known as the city of knights and has a tropical climate and the most beautiful landscapes to admire. But without more to say I want to show you my tour of this wonderful city of Venezuela and invite you to visit it.

First we can enjoy the Water Garden Park, which has a great variety of fish species and beautiful recreational areas.

Para mí la ciudad favorita de mi país es Mérida, pues he tenido la oportunidad de visitar las principales ciudades de Venezuela y en definitiva es esta la que me ha enamorado por completo. Esta hermosa ciudad fue fundado en octubre de 1558 y es conocida como la cuidad de los caballeros y posee un clima tropical y los paisajes más hermosos de admirar. Pero sin más que decir quiero mostrarles mi recorrido por esta maravillosa ciudad de Venezuela e invitarlos a visitarla.

En primer lugar podemos disfrutar del Parque Jardín acuático, el cual cuenta con una gran variedad de especies de peces y hermosas áreas recreativas.

Another beautiful attraction of this beautiful city is the Chorros de Milla Zoo, where we can appreciate native species from the Andean region and Venezuela, in addition to the beautiful landscapes found there.

Otra hermosa atracción de este bella ciudad es el Zoológico Chorros de Milla, donde podemos apreciar especies autóctonas de la región andina y de Venezuela, además de los hermosos paisajes que allí se encuentran.

Here we can also visit the Fabricio Ojeda trout farm, where we can appreciate each of the tanks where the trout live and reproduce, how you feed them, how they classify them and also allow us to fish and cook them. It also has a small amusement park for the little ones and a beautiful view.

Aquí también podemos visitar el criadero de truchas Fabricio Ojeda, donde podemos apreciar cada uno de los tanques donde viven y reproducen las truchas, como las alimentas, como las clasifican y ademas nos permiten pescarlas y cocinarlas. También cuenta con un pequeño parque de diversiones para los más pequeños y una hermosa vista.

Another of the most beautiful attractions is the Páramo la Culata, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada de Mérida and is one of the highest Andean moors in Venezuela.

Otra de las más bellas atracciones es el Páramo la Culata, en el corazón de la Sierra Nevada de Mérida y es uno de los páramos andinos mas elevados de Venezuela .

The Cathedral Basilica Menor de la Inmaculada Concepción or Cathedral of Mérida as it is better known by all, one of the most beautiful architectures in the country, a beautiful religious building built near Plaza Bolívar.

La Catedral Basílica Menor de la Inmaculada Concepción​ o Catedral de Mérida como es mejor conocida por todos, una de las más hermosas arquitecturas del país, un hermoso edificio religioso construido cerca de la plaza Bolívar.

The Plaza las Heroinas, a park and monument in honor of the Merideñas Heroines of the War of Independence, was announced through the newspaper El Vigilante on October 12, 1974.

La Plaza las Heroínas un parque y monumento en honor a las Heroínas Merideñas de la Guerra de Independencia fue dado a conocer a través del periódico El Vigilante el 12 de octubre de 1974.

The Chapel of Stone which was built by Juan Félix Sánchez, who, stone upon stone, and with the support of the community, built it in two years. It is an icon of popular architecture, a religious symbol and a tourist reference space in the Venezuelan Andes.

La Capilla de Piedra la cual fue construida por Juan Félix Sánchez, quien piedra sobre piedra, y con el apoyo de la comunidad, la edificó en dos años. Es un icono de la arquitectura popular, en símbolo religioso y en espacio de referencia turística de los Andes venezolanos.

And finally one of my favorites La Laguna de Mucubají in the Sierra Nevada Park, is one of the largest in the region, this beautiful lagoon is of glacial origin, with vegetation formed largely by frailejones and also with a large population of trout.

Y por ultimo uno de mis favoritos La Laguna de Mucubají en el Parque Sierra Nevada, es una de las más grandes de la región, esta hermosa laguna es de origen glacial, con vegetación formada en gran medida por frailejones y ademas con una gran población de truchas.

These are some of the most beautiful places in the city of Mérida and my favorites, although I cannot fail to mention the small town of grandfather's dreams, the Venezuela of yesterday and the municipal market where we find beautiful crafts and typical drinks of the region. Not only the landscapes make this city one of the most beautiful of all, but also its gastronomy where we find the Andean arepa, the Andean pisca, the truffles, the hot chocolate and the strawberries with cream.

This beautiful city is a pride for all Venezuelans, its climate, its landscapes, its culture and traditions, which highlight our essence. Estos son algunos de los lugares más hermosos de la ciudad de Mérida y mis preferidos, aunque no puedo dejar de mencionar al pueblito sueños del abuelo, la Venezuela de antier y el mercado municipal donde encontramos hermosas artesanías y bebidas típicas de las región. No solo los paisajes convierten a esta ciudad en una de las más hermosas de todas sino también su gastronomía donde encontramos la arepa andina, la pisca andina, las trufas, el chocolate caliente y las fresas con crema.

Esta bella ciudad es un orgullo para todos los Venezolanos, su clima, sus paisajes, su cultura y tradiciones, que resaltan nuestra esencia.
