English is an international language. Most of the users of Steemit do not speak active English. We need to know that small mistakes in writing will give an ugly impression to the writer. People will think about you based on what you write, from business documents, resumes, curriculum vitae, emails, papers, social media posts, and so on.

I am not someone who can speak English actively. I can only speak English through writing (passive English). In this post, I want to help my community members to be able to write quality writing in English. @steemitblog in the post A Guide For Newcomers also advises us to use Grammarly in writing posts in English. And a few weeks ago @saracampero and @ngoenyi on discord also suggested using Grammarly. Well, here is a detailed explanation.

Using Grammarly to Improve Post Language For Posts in English

Grammarly is easy to use. It's super easy. You don't have to attend classes or even read a lot (or whatever) of documentation.

• The first is you have to write a post that you will translate into English first. I suggest you write in Microsoft Word or it could be in the notes application on your smartphone.
• Then open the site https://www.grammarly.com/
• Then, log in with your email. Or you can also use other alternatives via Facebook and Apple accounts.

Grammarly provides two choices to users, free and premium. For free, you will get three functions spelling, grammar, and punctuation. While the premium, you will get more advantages, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, tone detection, conciseness, inclusive language, and word choice.

Here is the way

Paste the writing that you have written in Microsoft Word by Paragraft to translate it into English on Google Translate. Then, copy your English translation and paste it into Grammarly. Then choose the words, punctuation marks and sentences suggested by Grammarly.
