How are you all doing today, its a sunny Day here and a chilled smoothie wouldn't be a bad idea on a day like this.
This is my entry for the above contest, come along as i unravel the process of making my Mango-ginger smoothie with coconut milk.

Firstly i will like to discuss about each ingredient and its importance to the human body.
Ingredients:-

  1. Mangoes(Ripe):- Mango is an edible stone fruit, its a low calorie fruit that is high in fibre, rich in vitamin A & C, it also contains folate, b6, iron, calcium,
    Zinc and vitamin E. It's benefit includes but are not limited to the following:-
    *it boost immunity
    *improve Digestive system
    *High in antioxidant
    *improves Hair and skin Health
    *May help lowers some risk of certain cancer. Etc

  1. Ginger:- its a flowering plant ant it's among healthiest and most delicious spice in the world. Little wonder its is widely known and accepted in most part of the world.
    Its benefit includes:-
    *Helps the body fight off chronic Diseases likes heart diseases, high blood pressure amongst many other.
    *eases nausea and Vomiting in pregnant Women
    *Helps in the treatment of Diarrhea
    *it also promote healthy aging

  1. Coconut:- its a fruit of the coconut palm which is used for its water, oil, milk. Coconut is highly nutritious and its health benefits includes :-
    *coconut may promote blood sugar control
    *it contains powerful antioxidants that helps protect cell from oxidative damage.
    *assist bone formation and improve heart health.
    *May support weight loss

PREPARATION.

Preparation time:- 5-10minutes.

Wash all ingredients (mango, ginger, coconut) and remove skin, remove the mango seed and cut the mango into chunks then set aside.

Grate the coconut, cut the ginger into smaller pieces and blend with a blended, sieve the mixture to extract the coconut milk.

After the milk has been extracted, pour in your chopped mangoes into the blender with the extracted milk and blend for few seconds until you arrive at your desired consistency or you can keep adding your coconut milk to get a not-too-thick mixture.

Pour in a Glass mug over crushed ice, i also like to add some chunks of mango into my smoothie to give it a pulpy sensation in my mouth. And voila enjoy your healthy fresh mango ginger with coconut milk smoothie any time of the Day! Bon Appetit

I learnt this healthy drink and many more during my undergraduate days in the university, been a student of Hospitality and tourism we did courses in wine and Drink , food and pastries etc this opened my eye and knowledge to a wide variety of healthy drinks.
