Hello there, lovely Women. This is my submission for the Steem Women Club Contest #20 5 Favorite Places in Your City | Venue Introduction | with what3words | 50 Steem Awards competition.
Thanks to our admin @svm038 and the community's founder.
The name of my city is Lagos, Lagos is one of the biggest city in Nigeria, when it come to tourism and attractive place then Lagos is without doubt the number one city with these qualities in Nigeria.
The Mega city has it been called is made up of two categories which are mainland and the Island, the mainland is mostly dominate by the low class and middle class people, while the island is mainly dominate by celebrity and high class people this categories is based on financial status.
I stay in the mainland (you should all know my financial status by now 😅). The mainland is the biggest in term of space and population, there are so many places here in the mainland, below is my top 5 favorite places in Lagos
The Arena Shopping Complex
The Arena as it populary called is the biggest shopping complex in Lagos, I was Introduce to this place by a friend few years ago when I started my cloths and wears business, I came to Arean to buy the clothes I sell, the clothes are sold at wholesale and the price is very very cheap.
You can also get different types of foot wears, both male and female.
2. Yakoyo Local Food Joint
Yakoyo in my language (Yoruba) mean "Branch, eat and get satisfy", this is one of the most popular food joint here in Lagos mainland, they have any type of local dish, they are usually open 24/7, giving their customer 100% service and satisfaction. Even with has little and N200 that is 1.2 STEEM (at the current price of STEEM) you will eat and get satisfied

3. Idunmota Market (Fabric Market)
Idunmota market, also know has Fabric Market is where different type of fabric materials are being sold, both in wholesale, bulk and retails.
I love coming here especially during the festive period or anytime we have a family party or engagement, they sell different types of fabric from the Popular Ankara, Lace Stuff, Ghana Fabrics and so on.
4. National Museum Onikan
The National Museum Onikan is located in Lagos mainland, the museum is one of the oldest museum in Nigeria, during my secondary school time, we do come here for excursion where we are shown some of the oldest sculptures and artworks.
The pictures above are the museum kitchen and store respectively, you can see that the buildings are old, they are built with strong old bricks and local woods...
5. Ojuwoye Market (Provisions Market)
Ojuwoye Market the busiest and the most popular market in Lagos State is located at Mushin, it not far from the main Bus stop. The market deals with only provisions.
You can get different types and any brands of provisions in wholesale and bulks, when I was still staying with my mum she do come to this market to buy her provisions in wholesale and resell it in her small mini shop. I also do come over here to buy provisions whenever I want to go back to school when I was still in the University. I had a lot of memories here.
One of the memories I had here was a bad one, On this fateful or let me say unforgettable day my mum bag was snatched away from her by a group of boys, I almost cried my eyes out, the bag containing money for the goods she want to buy and also the transport fare to return home.
Thank God for the market women that contribute money for us to return home
Anytime I want to go to this market I usaully pray and hold my bag very tight. This is to avoid touching stories.. nevertheless Ojuwoye Market is still one of my Favorite place has I got different type of provisions for cheap price
