It's nice to be back, on the platform we are all proud of🤩... And for sure I'm happy to be able to participate in this amazing contest, organized by @steemwomenclub. I also want to say hello to my friends @smv038 and @nadiaturrina, warm greetings to you both. This contest is about preparing for the new year, so surely everyone has the habit of welcoming the new year, and the most important thing is to turn over a new page, and forget about the old one🤭.

In our family, the new year is only welcomed with family and at home. And coincidentally, my eldest son's birthday was right on New Year's Day. So we used to order a birthday cake for him. And make food to eat together. The birthday cake doesn't have to be expensive, the important thing is it's delicious. Usually we have to order early, because there are a lot of orders when the new year arrives. Children love to eat cake the most, especially if it is decorated, the more excited to eat it, especially with the chocolate bars around the cake.

And the most fun thing, yes, grilled fish, on New Year's Eve. Usually in the afternoon, we will go to TPI Ujong Blang, to buy fresh fish, and don't forget to buy coconut shells, to burn fish. After buying fish in the afternoon, we cleaned, and stored it in the refrigerator first. And when the night came, we had all the preparations ready. One of them burns the shell, and prepares soy sauce. After all the shells were burned, then we immediately burned the fish with the family. After eating together, it was very exciting. While eating while joking around.

For dessert, we also don't forget to buy fruit. Usually we buy sweet oranges. Sweet oranges are an option, because children love citrus fruits. And after chatting casually, we decided to clean up and sleep. And when tomorrow, surely our family will wake up late, because it's been too late to sleep.
