Greetings dear great family of the @steemwomenclub.
It's really good and we should count ourselves lucky to be on this platform that is offering us so much which has made us better in all aspects of life,I am grateful every day for this platform.

Write about the important woman/man in your life. why are they important?

With this topic, I will write about the most important woman in my life with smiles on my face because she is the reason I have life and that is my mother.

Growing up my mother was just a nurse in a small clinic who later left her job to become a farmer just to make ends meet.
But as we are growing up, we never really get to appreciate our parents because we think they are doing their duty as a parents not until we are in their shoes.
Mother, each day that passes I always wonder how you did it because this life ain't easy!

Why are they important?
I am because my mother is the reason why.she is a
🔸 warrior
🔸 Hardworking
🔸 Inspiration
🔸 Protector
🔸 Leader
🔸 Selfless
🔸 Fighter etc.
I wouldn't finish describing who my mother is because she is everything.

My mother is important because;
I am successful because of her.
I always admired my mother since I was a little girl.
She had the passion to be better by working hard and everyday of my life I picked up that leaf from her knowing that you don't get lucky in life but you have to work hard to be better.

My mother taught me never to surrender to the hardships of life
She lost her job when we were still in school but she did not accept defeat.
Instead of sitting at home, she went to further her studies.
It was not an easy one being a mother, student and wife but I saw her struggle to come back better.
I picked up a lesson that in life you dont have to bow to defeat but us your downfalls as a stepping stone to prosperity.

She taught me how to combat and gain a victory.
Seeing my mother bed ridden with fabrics and me at her bedside.
It was so bad that she one time held my hand and said " I am gonna come through, always believe for the best".
From that time I learned that believing helps you become strong and gives you the strength to stay positive and fight on.
Then until now, I always fought through the situations of life.

She has been the rock on which I stand and hold on when strong winds want to sweep me off.
Life is hard but it's harder when one has no one to hold their hand when the going gets tough.
But with her words of wisdom,hope and encouragement, I have been able to move through it all.

She is my emotional courage.
Even when I try to hide my feeling from her, she will know I am hurting and she will ask me what's wrong.
She will dry my tears and take up some of my pain to make me feel better. she will share a joke to make me forget that I am hurting.
Yes, that's my mother.

Most importantly she will pray for me and wish me the best. bless me and direct me.
She is my whole life and every day I pray I behalf of the person she is to my children.
I cannot compare her to any other nor can anyone fit and walk in her shoes.
She is my mother, mentor, teacher, prayer warrior, confidant, and friend but most of all, she is my mum.

Inconcusion

I know life still has a lot for me and I wish I could reply you and make you proud.
Their is none compared to you, mother!
After God, you are the next important person in my life and in me, you hold a very big special place.

Mum, I love you.
