One of the activities carried out by community health leaders is providing health services for children and pregnant women. Not only counseling, but also providing some healthy food supplies and controlling the health of every child and pregnant woman once a month. This activity is very interesting for mothers who are pregnant or have toddlers under 5 years old. This activity is very useful because we as parents can find out all forms of development and information about family health.
The announcement from behind the door leading from the Meunasah where the activity was being held was clearly heard when I was feeding the children breakfast. The announcement made the mothers who were at the kiosk beside my house one by one go home and leave the stall. I also immediately get ready and wash my hands after feeding the children, then I take them to the bathroom and clean themselves. As usual, after the children were ready, then I went to get ready for the event.
After everything was done, the children and I went to Meunasah which is not far from my house, and when I got there I saw that many mothers were already queuing because we had to fill in the check-in list and take a queue number before proceeding to the next process. Posyandu provides services in the form of measuring the child's weight, height, head circumference, arm length and arm circumference.
After all the numbers are obtained, the officer will ask us parents to give the numbers that have been written on the small paper given to other officers to fill in the data in the pink book. There was already written the name and parents of the child, and the pink book was filled in and today's posyandu activities were finished. However, as usual, after all stages have been carried out, the posyandu activity is closed with the distribution of food to increase the nutrition of the toddlers later.
After everything was done, my children and I went home because it was getting late, and I had to cook lunch for the family.
That's all for my Diary Game story today, I hope this posyandu activity can make children excited and parents are also motivated to always monitor the health condition of the child by regularly taking them to the posyandu. Even though it is done in a simple way, this activity has many benefits, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that is still hitting.
