Reasons Why Do We Need to Power Up

1. More steempower, more movements will be done in the platform.

Whenever you will have a lesser amount of steempower, you can just less than 10 actions like upvoting, commenting esp posting new entries. Meaning, you only had limited actions to make or there is a quota per day. If you reached that quota, you can't move in that day anymore. And it will refresh on the next day.

2. You can delegate to your chosen communities.

Once you have extra steempower, you can delegate a part of it to your chosen community. And take note, you will receive an amount proportion to your delegation every month. It somewhat like you are investing on a company and will receive a profit at the end of the month. And aside from, you are able to help the certain community grow with your delegated steempower.

3. Power Value

More steempower simply means that whenever you upvote a nice entry, there is an equivalent steem on your upvote. And in that way, there is a bigger possibility that the steemian that you had upvoted will support you back.

Steps on How to Power Up

Step 1:

Sign in to your steemit wallet using your active key, click the dropdown beside the STEEM, then, choose POWER UP.

Step 2:

Then, you will be directed here. And type how many steem you wanted to power up. And click POWER UP.

Step 3:

Then, confirm the action you did by clicking ok. After this one, some will ask you again the active key and there were also cases that it will directly proceed to the next step.
