Steem Women Club Design Contest #24 || DIY Macrame Plant Hanger || 20-07-2021 || 20% payout to @womenclubcharity
Hello beautiful, I hope you all are fine and doing great.
I found this @steemwomensclub community so hard working and I am glad to be a part of this community.
This #womenclubdesign contest is so exciting. Thank you #steemwomenclub for conducting all the beautiful contests and I am extremely exciting to see all the entries.
In this contest I am going to make a jute plant hanger which looks so beautiful and best for indoor plants.
Material needed to prepare the hanger.
▪️ Jute
▪️ Straight wood
▪️ Scissors
▪️ Plant
It's so easy and it's looks beautiful in just few steps and minimum Material.
Let's get started,
Step 1
Take a straight wooden branch for the support.
Now cut the strand of jute 75 inches long. We need 12 strands for this design.
Step 2
Now take the strand and double it and make a Lark's head knot over the branch like shown above.
And repeat the process with all the jute strands.
Step 3
Now make the 3 section. Each section is consist of 4 strands.
Now take the 4 strands and make Alternating square knot and make a downward tringle. Like shown above.
Repeat this process until we make 5 sets of alternating square knot in all the 3 Sections.
Step 4
Now we again use this knotting method to make the pattern shown above. All we have to do is just take the alternative strands.
And form a triangular shape and it looks something like this.
Then we again form a triangle on the opposite side and in opposite direction.
Step 5
Now we take 2 strands from the outer sides of each ends and make alternating square knot in front.
And form a flower shape knot like this.
And the remaining middle strands will support the pot so we knot them using the same method.
Step 6
Last we use Gathering knot method to tie all the strands together.
And our DIY MACRAME PLANT HOLDER is ready to hang our favourite indoor plants.
You can use this hanger in many ways. For keeping your toys and plants.
I would like to invite @sakshi27, @komal0007, @jyoti-thelight, @sduttaskitchen, @rinkisaxena to participate in this contest.
