The Diary Game - Better Life with steemit 11 May 2021

Hi sisters and friends,
Hope you all being well, to day I woke up at 6.20 freshen up and completed usual essentials. I made Idlis (A Indian dish)and side dish with Lentil grams for break fast. I remember that I wanted to call the hospital for vaccine appointment today. So in the morning about 9 am I called the hospital and they said there is no vaccine available today, so I have to call them tomorrow.

I have no more work for two, three hours due to the lock-down here , I decided to make a "Dream catcher" handicraft with Macrame Cord. I would like to show you how to make a dream catcher handicraft with some easy steps.

Items Required :

1. Six colors of Nylon Macrame Cord 10mts each
2. A 8 inch ring and a
3. Two 2.5 inch rings
4. Crystal Gada Beads Hanging Bells 21 Nos
5. Crystal Bead, 12mm 1 No
6. Scissors
7. A candle

Step 1 : Take the small ring and cover it with pink colored Nylon Macrame Cord by knotting and knitting style, put the Crystal Bead in it.

Step 2 : Take the big ring and attached it with purple cord by double knotting style.

Step 3: Start covering the big ring with green color cord up to 2 inches length, and make two knitting with white cord and connect it with another small ring that placing in the middles of big ring.

Step 4 : Do the same process with different color cords as shown in the picture, connect all knitting to the middle ring.

Step 5 : After complete the ring , you have to make some drops like this , for those drops, take any 4 color cords.

Step 6: Cut a meter length cord and join it with the the Crystal Gada Beads Hanging Bell on both side and stick its edge by heating them with candle flame, this cord is polyester material so it would be melt when we heat it.

Step 7 : Make 4 drops in each 3 color and only two drops in one color which will be placed at center, so make it lengthier than others, make smaller drops for both sides.

Step 8 : Tie all the drops with the bottom side of the ring with siple knot as shown in the picture.

Now the Dream Cather is ready to hang on the walls, You can make this also with wool, plastic wires and nylon wires too. Adding feather would be looking nice. The dream catcher is the origin of north america, the red Indian people were crafting this with feathers and coir, and celled "Boho Collections".
