STEEM WOMEN CLUB : “Chain of Goodness” | My 3rd Feeding Activity

Ohayou Gosaimazou strong women!

How are you ladies? I wish that you are all great. I hope that everything is fine. Today, let me share with you our feeding program @chainofgoodness @actofkindness activity yesterday.

Planning

Last Friday at 8 pm, my wife initiated a meeting as mentioned in my latest post. And one of our topics was to have a feeding program. And, here it was, we were able to accomplish our plan

Grocery Time

We agreed that our feeding program will be yesterday Sunday in the afternoon. So, I and my wife @kyrie1234 went to Savemore supermarket where we bought all the things needed. And we're able to buy the following:

~5 loaves of sliced bread
~2 big packs of mayonnaise
~6 sachets of orange juice
~54 pcs of roller coaster chips
~2 packs of plastic container
~50 pcs plastic bottles

The Preparation

Right after going to church we took a rest for 1 hour then, we started packing the bread and put on some mayonnaise. Together with me was my wife @kyrie1234 and my sisters @elaijah123, @babyjl, @jeyd1109, and my sis-in-law @mrs.cuyag. It feels so great working with these kind-hearted people.

As the saying goes, "It is better to give than to receive", and since I received some support from this platform I wanted to use it and share it with the kids at our place. I chose them because I can see that they haven't tasted them always.

We planned to do our activity outside since we had noticed that the population of the kids was getting higher. And the parents of these kids were so happy seeing their young ones happy. And some of our relatives were asking if we will still do it next week because they wanted to help in preparing the food for the kids. And they were suggesting that we will prepare something "HOT" so that the kids will surely get full. So, they were volunteering that they will the ones to cook. And it feels so great because I was able to know that there were people who also wanted to extend their help even not financial. And it is already a great help for me.

The Feeding Galore

Before we gave the snacks to the kids, my wife talks with the kids first. She always emphasized the value of sharing what we have and saying THANK YOU after receiving it. We also told them that the blessing they received came from the community. And we should be grateful for having them. Since the charity was born because of @steemit. The platform taught us to give and to share our blessings especially with those who are in need.

After my wife had her short speech, I then prayed for the food and for the kids also as well as the platform that made our charity into reality.

Actually, my father and my uncle were Pastors in our church. And we really love to do charity works, we just lack funds. Until me and this platform had crossed our path, and we made our dream into reality. DAGHANG SALAMAT steemit especially to this community @steemwomenclub who supported me since I joined this platform.

We then started to distribute the snacks, and thank God all the kids were fairly distributed and we were also able to give the parents who were also in the venue.

The kids were very grateful and happy of the blessings they had received.
