SteemWomen's Club Community Contest # 4 || Who is your female idol and why?-Diana de Gales

in SteemWomen Club4 years ago
Greetings dear ladies of Steemit, I hope you are well. This is my participation in the contest by @steemwomensclub where the theme for this week is to talk about a female idol that inspires us for the occasion. I have someone special that I want to talk to you about, known for many reasons and whom I admire a lot even though she is not present; she is Diana Frances Spencer, better known as Lady Di.

Diana de Gales

Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961 at Park House, Sandringham, France. She is the youngest child of the marriage between John Spencer and Frances Ruth Roche, and grew up with her two sisters and brother, spending the first years of her life in their family home, receiving education as a governess. Eight years after her birth, after her parents' divorce, Diana was left in her father's custody, continuing with her studies. In the late 70's she finished her studies in Switzerland, establishing her residence in London where she managed to work in several companies in the area, a few years passed and in 1997 she met Prince Charles, Heirs to the British Throne, on February 24, 1981 they became legally engaged and since then Diana moved to Clarence House residence and it was July 29, 1981 when they got married in London's Saint Paul's Cathedral, an event that was broadcast on television causing great furore among viewers, due to this fact; Diana receives the title of Princess of Wales.

From her marriage with Carlos, her first son was born on June 21, 1992, named William and two years later, her second son was born on September 15, 1984, named Henry. Diana dedicated her time exclusively to the care of her children and fulfilled commitments she was obligated to fulfill due to her marriage, these commitments brought her closer to the people, becoming an altruistic woman, achieving an impeccable humanitarian work since she was focused on the most vulnerable in society; This mission of empathy and solidarity led her to unite ties with Mother Teresa of Calcutta, performing excellent works of charity that many times were well seen in the eyes of the society in which she was immersed, for which she was severely criticized. All this added to her marital problems that she was going through but she decided to face them without caring about the opinion of others and at the time of her divorce with Prince Charles it was she who gave the news to society through an interview she gave to the BBC.

In short, Diana was a woman who wanted to change the world so that people would see it differently, transcending the social limits that led her to fame for being different and with an exceptional human quality that set the standard worldwide for her courage, honesty and strength with which she fought to face the needs of others that made her a very admired person. Unfortunately for the whole world Diana died in a tragic accident on August 31st 1997 at the age of 36.

Diana was a woman full of courage, which she transmitted over time. It is because of this that my admiration for her eternal struggle of wanting to help others drives me to continue her steps of helping others in their needs; besides facing life in an honest way and with much courage without fear of what others may think.

Diana from Wales is and will always be my example to follow, for being who she was without fear of anything or anyone even knowing that she had fears inside her that she decided to face.

Many thanks to @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 for their support of the contest.
