The Birth Journey, Samuel at 9 months by @estysam for @steemwomenclubon 21/10/21

Good day beautiful women, I'm sure you are having a great day? Please read through.

My son, Samuel clocked 9 months today and it is a big win for me. Seeing him grow from the day I birthed him uptill this time gives me countless reasons to smile and be grateful.

We have shared beautiful moments together and even if he doesn't talk yet as he is still learning how to, I still understand whatever the problem is. That is where the power and magic of a mother lies.

Let's go through his birth process.

I left school early on 20th January to go see my mother-in-law and rearrange my hospital bag. Seeing the items I bought for my baby gives me joy unspeakable and I like doing anything that brings me close to my child even before he was born.
On getting there, I packed all dirty clothes to wash and while I was done, I cooked off with a can of malt, preparing to eat porridge plantain with periwinkle the next morning. Few minutes later, my mother-in-law arrived and we gisted, laughed and retired to bed.

I noticed I had started contracting very early in the morning by 5 but wasn't sure of what it was. I told my husband and left for the hospital by 7am. Giving birth to Samuel few minutes before 12pm still makes me speechless . It was so easy.
He weighed 3.8kg at birth.

Samuel is an early starter. He started going to school with me before he was 2weeks because I was to take my final college exams same period and he pulled through. He was in the care of my mom who bring him to me in the examination hall whenever he needs to eat since I was exclusively breastfeeding him

Here I am now, celebrating his 9th month anniversary. Though we didn't get to celebrate it loudly, we'll do that at his 12th month, God's willing.
