Hellooooo elegant women, nice welcoming you all to my blog today. Few days ago I made a post and promise to share my rice recipe with you all and so today I want to show you how to cook a delicious jollof rice.

Nigerian Jollof rice

Nigerian jollof is one of the delicious dish that almost every Nigerian liked so much. Tomatoes is the active ingredient in this dish, it is red in colour, with spicy flavour 😋 it is prepared in any occasion that is done here in Nigeria, easy to prepare and I know you will like to prepare it some day, today I'm going to share with you my own recipe of preparing the jollof rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • Rice
  • Tomatoes
  • Vegetables oil
  • Spices (I prepare my mixed spice)
  • Onion
  • Pepper 🌶️
  • Chilly pepper
  • Seasoning cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken 🐔
  • Green pepper
  • Crayfish

PREPARATION

  • First; parboiled the rice

  • While the rice is on fire, prepare your ingredients

  • Cut to size your onion, green pepper

  • Blend your crayfish and pepper

  • Prepare your chicken, season it and steem it well.

Once you are done preparing your ingredients, fry your tomatoes, I like frying it first to have a good taste in the rice. So I usually fry the tomatoes just with oil no addition of water.

  • Once I'm done, I place my pot on fire
  • Add oil to it
  • Add onion
  • Add my tomatoes stock
  • Stir it
  • Add chicken stock to it allow it to boil out
  • Add your rice
  • Add spice, seasoning cube and salt to taste
  • Cover your pot
  • Boom African jollof rice is ready
