Today contest topic is my favourite as it relate to food, I love to cooking. Today i am sharing Eid special Seekh kabab kofta curry, I am making it with lamb mince and in lamb fat. You can add mince which you like most. Lets start cooking.
Ingredients | Quantity |
Lamb Mince | 500 grams |
Lamb fat | 100 grams |
Onion | 2 |
Green chillies | 2 to 3 |
Red chilli | 1/2 tsp |
Turmeric | 3/4 tsp |
Salt | as per taste |
Brown roasted chickpeas flour | 2 tsp |
Baking powder | 3/4 tsp |
Egg | 1 |
Oil | 2 tablespoon |
Ginger garlic paste | 1 tsp |
Dry coriander | 1/2 tsp |
Cumin | 1/2 tsp |
Seekh kabab making
Step 1
- Take a bowl added mince in it.
Step 2
- Chopped the onion very fine and removed excess water from it.
Step 3
- Added red chilli, salt, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chopped onion, chopped green chillies, baking power, gram flour and egg in mince.
Step 4
- Mixed it very well. If mince is without fat you can add oil or ghee one tsp. I added 2 tsp lamb fat after shredding it mixed in mince mixture.
Step 5
- Take a small portion of mince mixture and make the shape of seekh kabab. Make all kabab like this. Keep in referigerator for 15 minutes.
Gravy making

Yougurt | 1cup |
Red chilli | 1/2 tsp |
Turmeric | 3/4 tsp |
Salt | 1/2tsp |
Cumin | 1/2 tsp |
Dry coriander | 1/2 tsp |
Gravy making
Step 1
- Added oil in pan and put choppee onion in it. When started golden, added chopped tomatoes and all spices.
- Make the paste or wait to make its gravy. I used paste. Now added seekh kabab and covered the lid, flame should be low. After 5 minutes added yougurt in it and again covered it, donot use spoon.
Step 2
- Added water as much gravy you like.
- Covered it for 5 minutes on low flame. Its done.
Tips
- Baking soda make the seekh kabab soft.
- Egg addition prevent it from breaking
- Gram flour make it juicy and soft
- Do not use spoon when you added kabab in gravy.
