My day with my favorite food (Moimoi) // by @dave-hanny

Hi amazing steemians, I am @dave-hanny and I am with this article today to share about my favorite food, fortunate enough I cooked the food this morning and I feel I should share it here on this amazing platform with a unique set of people as they read and comment on my mistakes or learn another method of cooking (Moi-moi) and this food is made from beans which I will show the process soon.

Moi-moi

Moi-Moi is an already prepared meal with the use of a small bean. Moi Moi and beans cake (akara) are all from the same family of beans, the preparations are the same but what differs is the cooking process. The bean cake is been fried while the Moi-Moi is been cooked. Moi-Moi is a proteinous food you can eat without meat or egg but most people prefer cooking it with both egg and well-cooked meat into the grinded Moi-Moi.

This food belongs to one of the classes of food which Is "protein" as I have mentioned earlier. The protein helps to build the body system, especially children's body system, and also helps in the growth of an individual. Now, the world is not perfect without proteinous foods. Some people find it difficult to buy meat, so they use Moi-Moi as the protein to have a balanced meal in some foods and I have been seeing this severally, especially in places where foods are been sold, people order for different food combination and some orders for rice and Moi moi Instead of rice and meat.

Below are the steps of how I prepare my moimoi

This is the first step for preparing Moi-Moi by washing the beans with the use of clean water for the easy back peel of the beans.

The next step is to wash thoroughly, especially the red bell pepper which would give good looking color, the ginger would give it a nice flavor and make it peppery, and the onion is to make it soft and add to it a good flavor.

There are the ground beans and the ingredients to be used which are crayfish, groundnut oil, palm oil, seasoning cubes, and salt to bring out the hidden taste.

In this step, I add all the necessary things and mix them well.

After well mixed, the water used to rinse the engine should be added to the well-grounded beans and mixed again. If the water is not enough and it's too thick, warm water should be added.

This step, it's been tight in the leather. Before tieing, make sure there is hot water on the fire boiling.

At this point, it is already on the fire

Lastly, give it an hour but depending on the velocity of the fire.

And now, ready for consumption, it tastes sweet and yummy.

Conclusion
