How I introduce my business the beautiful women
Hello steemit ladies coming here is to share my experience with everyone in the house about my business, am so happy doing what I can do, and I have joy in doing it,
What is poultry
Poultry refers to all species of birds that thrive under the care of man.
This includes, chicken, turkey,duck, guinea- fowl
Pigeon and goose.
Their body is usually covered with feathers.
They have a beak with, which they pick their food.
I rare chicken for real, starting from chicks till it becomes full grown chicken. Starting from nursery , but at the start we call it day old chicks.
We find so interesting to introduce the business to my fellow women in the house .
Poultry business is garbage in garbage out, though it's not all that good during raining season, but you can still do it with the help of heat to protect them,
** First stage**
Arrival of the day old chicks from the hatchery, at this point you have already prepared a place for them to stay , that particular place is called BROODING HOUSE ,we're you keep them for two to three weeks before you transfer them to a bigger specious place, this is the picture of day old chicks below
It comes in cartons, and immediately the arrived the first thing to do is to removed them from the carton and put them in the brooding house you had already prepared for them .
The next thing is to give them glucose water to reduce stress. And start feeding them with Starter feed for about one to three weeks.
During the forth week you will start feeding them with finisher, until the fully matured for marketing and consumption.
To me poultry business is a very profitable business, when you know how to handle it,
Both brollers and layers as well as live stock farming.
How do you get to know the business
I was introduced into the business in October 2017 by my Tenant, who happens to work in a very big poultry farm in our neighborhood.
What are the challenges in the business
The following are the challenges we are facing in the business:
- Lack of social aminities
- High cost of feeds
- Lack of food drugs
- High cost of chicks
- High cost of product generally
What are the benefits of chicken to man
It's is use as meet to man
It's also supply Egg
Chicken meet is a sauce of protein to man
It help through weight management,
It's helps to reduce the risks of heart disease etc
Poultry farming is a very good business , that can easily put foods on someone's table, though it's very challenging during raining season but with help of charcoal you can make it and constant heat it not have problem.
In conclusion, with this few explanation, have been able to introduce my the business to my fellow women to embrace poultry farming because is a nice business ,I also welcome good friend
