Birthdays and special occasions are ways to bond and catch up with old and new friends.

Today I get to meet my very good friend @georgie84 because it is her daughters first birthday. Eva or steemit baby has bloomed and became a beautiful girl.

Being a Godmother takes a lot of responsibility specially to the well being of the baby. Honestly I haven't really had done a good job with that. But I assure that I will always be there for baby Eva whenever she needs me.

The child in me was activated as I saw all the sweets and desserts. They all looked delicious and very inviting. I tried most of them and was satisfied by the taste.

While waiting for other visitors to come I get to chitchat with @steemitcebu, @kyrie1234 and @fabio2614 while @georgie84 was busy taking care of baby Eva.

I tried all the food, I just tried my very best to eat all of them since they all looked so delicious too. I sometimes think that its a common Filipino habit of filling their plates with almost all of the food.

My favorite food which is lechon is never absent in all Filipino gathering. I love how crispy the pork skin was and the flavor was enough.

As many as the food that is how many the talks we had, well it was kinda hard to talk to @steemitcebu since we had to use all of our english skills in front of him but he was always easy to talk to.

Unfortunately Eva doesn't like our beauty and didn't wanna be carried by us. We forcefully took a picture of her and end up making the birthday girl cry.

Today was a fun day, finally get to see baby steemit after a year and be with good friends. We sometimes be separated by our dear friends but what is nice with having real good friends is that they keep you for a lifetime.
