Today's dynamic is about recipes so, I am going to share recipe of my favorite dish which is Chicken Biryani. I loved it and I cooked it very well too. So, lets start the recipe of delicious chicken biryani:
Ingredients for Gravy
Ingredients | Quantity |
Chicken | 500 g |
Bombay Biryani | 1 packet |
Tikka Masala | 1 tbsp |
Tomato | 3 to 4 |
Onion | 250 g or 3 to 4 |
Tamarind | 2 tbsp |
Ginger Garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
Cumin | 1 tbsp |
Red Chili | 1/2 tbsp |
Green Chili | 4 to 5 |
Salt | 1 tbsp |
Food color | 1 pinch |
Yogurt | 2 tbsp |
Milk | 1 tbsp |
Marination
- Take chicken in a bowl and add yogurt, half biryani masala, and tikka masala. Marinate it for half an hour in refrigerator.
Biryani Gravy Making
- Take a pan and add oil in it. Add chopped onion and fry them.
- When onion become golden brown then add green chili and chopped tomatoes in it. And fry it for 5 minutes.
- Then add spices in it and biryani masala in it as well.

- Fry it and make a gravy of it.
- Then add marinated chicken, tamarind in gravy and cook it.
- Then cover the lid for 5 to 10 minutes until the Chicken become soft and cooked.
- After 10 minutes off the lid and fry it for 5 minutes. Dry all the water in Chicken until oil extract out.
- Then leave it on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
Rice Preparation
Ingredients | Quantity |
Rice | 500 g |
Water | 2 to 3 liters |
Salt | According to taste |
Stanner | For extraction of water |
Rice Making
- Take 500 g of rice and soaked it for 2 hours.
- Then take water in a pan and start boiling it.
- Add salt in it and I have added 4 tbsp of salt in rice.
- When water start boiling then add rice in it.
- Cooked it for 10 to 15 minutes. Whem rice cooked 8/10 then off the flame.
- Stann the rice in stanner and extract out all the water.
Layering of Biryani
- Add small amount of gravy in pan and then start adding rice in it.
- Add a layer of rice on the small amount of gravy.
- Add one layer of chicken gravy on rice layer.
- Then complete the layering of rice and chicken.
- Mix food color in one tbsp of milk and add few drops of few color on biryani final layer.
- Then low the flame and cover with lid for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes off the flame and tasty biryani is ready to serve.
- Tasty and delicious chicken biryani is ready and serve to your family and guests.
Important Instructions
- If you have old rice then before cooking soaked them for about 2 to 3 hours to make them perfect.
- Don't leave water in the gravy of chicken otherwise your biryani not cooked good and it will become greasy greasy.
- Add small amount of oil from gravy to prevent rice from burning.
- Taste the salt in rice don't leave it without tasting otherwise your rice will become less salty.
- Add tikka masala to enhance it's taste.
