Buenos días, buenas tardes, buenas noches mis queridas mujeres de Steemwomenclub. Me uno al concurso de esta semana.
Debo confesarles que indistintamente de las realidades que estemos viviendo cada una de nosotras, el reto mayor lo tienen las personas de este equipo porque cada historia es más conmovedora que la otra.
Antes de iniciar con la mía, me di un paseo por las participaciones de otras mujeres y sólo puedo concluir que el trabajo de los curadores y los que decidan quienes ganarán está muy difícil.
Por eso, mis mejores deseos para cada uno de los participantes.

I must confess that regardless of the realities that each of us are experiencing, the greatest challenge is for the people on this team because each story is more moving than the other.
Before starting mine, I took a walk through the participations of other women and I can only conclude that the work of curators and those who decide who will win is very difficult.
Therefore, my best wishes to each of the participants.
Lo primero que debemos considerar es el país donde estamos, ya que eso nos pondrá en contexto de la situación económica y política, así como el poder adquisitivo del mismo.
En mi caso particular, soy de Venezuela, país maravilloso, de gente amena y cordial, de corazones grandes y risas vibrantes, país muy golpeado económicamente por el desenvolvimiento de los gobernantes, hemos pasado por varios conos monetarios tratando de minimizar la cantidad de ceros en las cifras irreales a la que ha llegado la inflación, aún así los precios ya han alcanzado cifras en millones de bolívares o lo que es peor se han categorizado en $ (dólares) pero los que aquí habitamos no ganamos en esa moneda.
Considero importante hacer esta breve introducción para aclarar lo que representa el premio que se está ofreciendo en este concurso y lo que la cifra representa para nosotras. 50 STEEM representan en promedio 68 millones de bolívares venezolanos a la tasa del día de hoy 28 de Marzo del 2021, en dólares representaría como 34-35$ al cambio de hoy, porque en nuestro país la tasa del dólar varía diariamente (dos veces al día)
The first thing we must consider is the country where we are, since that will put us in context of the economic and political situation, as well as its purchasing power.
In my particular case, I am from Venezuela, a wonderful country, with pleasant and cordial people, with big hearts and vibrant laughter, a country very economically hit by the development of the rulers, we have gone through several monetary cones trying to minimize the amount of zeros in the unreal figures that inflation has reached, even so, prices have already reached figures in millions of bolivars or, what is worse, they have been categorized in $ (dollars) but those of us who live here do not earn in that currency.
I consider it important to make this brief introduction to clarify what the prize that is being offered in this contest represents and what the figure represents for us. 50 STEEM represent an average of 68 million Venezuelan bolivars at the rate of today March 28, 2021, in dollars it would represent $ 34-35 at today's exchange rate, because in our country the dollar rate varies daily (twice the day).
¿Qué puedes comprar y hacer en tu país con 50 Steem?/ What can you buy and do in your Country with 50 Steem?
Esta pregunta me parece interesante, no sólo por el hecho de poder contestar lo que se puede o no comprar con la cantidad de 50 STEEM, que de hecho es bastante lo que se puede comprar o completar con esa cantidad, pero, lo que realmente me parece interesante es lo que eso representa para cada venezolano, al leer cada participación pude concluir que cada uno de nosotros ha cambiado las prioridades y por eso leerán en la mayoría de los posts que este dinero nos sirve para:
- Comprar alimentos
- Comprar medicamentos
- Comprar algo de ropa de vestir o calzado (más por necesidad que por vanidad).
- Comprar productos que pueden servir para yudar a otros o que permitan llevar a cabo un proyecto adicional que genere ingresos extras.
Pero lo que la mayoría de nosotras debemos admitir es que los votos y premios obtenidos en este concurso y en Steemit nos permiten:
- Renovar nuestra fe
- Llenarnos de esperanza
- Sentir que si podemos lograrlo
- Ser felices
- Llevar alegría a otros.
- Tener un poco de tranquilidad.
Si me hubiesen hecho esta misma pregunta hace 11 días atrás de seguro la respuesta hubiese sido más amena, pero hoy debo admitir que la realidad que me tocó vivir con mi mamá quien se contagió con el virus Covid-19 cambió drásticamente mi realidad y muchas de estas líneas y respuestas irán dirigidas a explicarlo.
This question seems interesting to me, not only because of the fact of being able to answer what can or cannot be bought with the amount of 50 STEEM, which in fact is quite what can be bought or completed with that amount, but, what really It seems interesting is what that represents for each Venezuelan, when reading each participation I could conclude that each of us has changed priorities and that is why they will read in most of the posts that this money helps us to:
- Buy food
- Buy medicines
- Buy some clothing or footwear (more out of necessity than vanity).
- Buy products that can be used to help others or that allow to carry out an additional project that generates extra income.
But what most of us must admit is that the votes and prizes obtained in this contest and in Steemit allow us to:
- Renew our faith
- Fill us with hope
- Feel that if we can achieve it
- Be happy
- Bring joy to others.
- Have a little peace of mind.
If they had asked me this same question 11 days ago, surely the answer would have been more pleasant, but today I must admit that the reality that I had to live with my mother who was infected with the Covid-19 virus drastically changed my reality and many of these lines and answers will be directed to explain it.

Describir la importancia de Steemit en nuestro país? Si tuviera que definirlo en una frase sería:
"Contar con una realidad paralela"
Quizás en este momento estarás pensando: tanto así? esta frase no será un poco exagerada?
Te puedo decir que...absolutamente no es nada exagerada.
La mayoría de los que entramos a Steemit hace dos años atrás lo hicimos llenos de expectativas porque había una plataforma que decían te permitiría generar "ingresos extras", entramos muchos con la esperanza de ver materializada esa idea y efectivamente fue así, con el adicional que encontramos gente afín, personas sumamente interesantes, las barreras se derrumbaron así como se acortaron las distancias geográficas, ganamos amigos y hasta compañeros de día a día fuera de nuestras habituales profesiones.
En mi caso particular estuve dos años fuera, más por un ascenso laboral que me quitó mucho tiempo ( y en el cual no estoy actualmente) y por la falta de internet en mi hogar, ahorita puedo decir que todos crecieron a pesar de la baja en el valor de la criptomoneda, crecieron en amistad y fueron evolucionando al mismo ritmo que la plataforma.
Si tuviera que describir la importancia de la plataforma podría decir que no sólo se trata de dinero, se trata de oportunidades, de amistad, de trabajo en equipo, de aprovechar buenos tiempos financieros para obtener algo de tranquilidad entre tanta inflación.
Describe the importance of Steemit in our country? If I had to define it in one sentence it would be:
"Count on a parallel reality"
Perhaps at this moment you are thinking: so much like that? This sentence will not be a bit exaggerated?
I can tell you ... it is absolutely not exaggerated at all.
Most of us who entered Steemit two years ago did so full of expectations because there was a platform that they said would allow you to generate "extra income", many of us entered with the hope of seeing that idea materialized and indeed it was like that, with the addition that We found like-minded people, extremely interesting people, barriers collapsed as well as geographical distances were shortened, we won friends and even day-to-day companions outside of our usual professions.
In my particular case, I was away for two years, more due to a job promotion that took a lot of time (and in which I am not currently) and because of the lack of internet in my home, right now I can say that they all grew despite the drop in the value of the cryptocurrency, grew in friendship and evolved at the same rate as the platform.
If I had to describe the importance of the platform, I could say that it is not only about money, it is about opportunities, friendship, teamwork, taking advantage of good financial times to obtain some peace of mind amid so much inflation.
¿Está ganando lo suficiente en esta plataforma para usted?/Is earning enough on this platform for you?
No me puedo quejar, regresé después de dos años de ausencia y les puedo decir que en ese tiempo he generado más ingresos de los que mi profesión como docente universitario me hubiese podido dar.
La vida del venezolano es particular, nos debatimos entre la vocación, la profesión, lo que genera ingresos, lo que soñamos hacer, lo que nos brinda tranquilidad y lo que aun no hemos hecho pero deseamos con el alma y el corazón realizar.
Cómo dije en párrafos anteriores, hace semanas atrás mi nos enteramos que mi madre se contagió con el virus que causa tanto temor, gracias a la plataforma, pude destinar lo generado para el pago de citas médicas, exámenes de laboratorio, radiografías, no puedo decir que el dinero alcanzó para todo, porque de hecho se fueron todo los ahorros que estaban destinados a la compra de un vehículo (coche), que como todo en este país más por necesidad que por capricho o vanidad.
De hecho, hoy decidí concursar para poder seguir costeando uno de los medicamentos que no pueden faltar, ese que sirve como anti-coagulante y evita que los pacientes con Covid sufran de trombosis.
Los 50 STEEM me servirían para comprar una dosis de ese medicamento llamado "Clexane", actualmente mi madre necesita 6 dosis de ese medicamento hasta que el doctor considere que no hace falta.
Si me preguntas: te gustaría ganar más en la plataforma mi respuesta sería "Sí"
De hecho, estoy apostando que así será, por ese motivo decidí rechazar la propuesta que me hicieron en la universidad para ser la subdirectora académica y así poder contar con el tiempo para escribir.
Recuerdo cuando le dije a la directora de la universidad:
"no puedo aceptar la propuesta que me haces, he decidido dedicar tiempo a la plataforma que hace dos años dejé y que actualmente me puede dar más ingresos que el cargo que me ofreces"

I cannot complain, I returned after two years of absence and I can tell you that in that time I have generated more income than my profession as a university teacher could have given me.

As I said in previous paragraphs, weeks ago we found out that my mother was infected with the virus that causes so much fear, thanks to the platform, I was able to allocate what was generated for the payment of medical appointments, laboratory tests, X-rays, I cannot say that the money was enough for everything, because in fact all the savings that were destined to the purchase of a vehicle (car) were gone, that like everything in this country more out of necessity than out of whim or vanity.
In fact, today I decided to compete in order to continue paying for one of the medications that cannot be absent, the one that serves as an anti-coagulant and prevents Covid patients from suffering from thrombosis.
The 50 STEEMs would help me to buy a dose of that drug called "Clexane", currently my mother needs 6 doses of that drug until the doctor considers that it is not necessary.
If you ask me: would you like to earn more on the platform, my answer would be "Yes"
In fact, I am betting that it will, for that reason I decided to reject the proposal that they made me at the university to be the academic assistant director so that I can have the time to write.
I remember when I said to the director of the university:
"I cannot accept the proposal that you make to me, I have decided to dedicate time to the platform that I left two years ago and that currently can give me more income than the position you offer me"
Thank god she understood ;-)
¿Obtiene ganancias invirtiendo?/Do you make a profit by investing?
Aun no!, pero es mi idea, quiero que mi cuenta crezca, que mi poder de voto pueda aumentar, deseo tener suficiente SP para poder delegar a comunidades como esta y otras que me encanta, quiero formar parte de muchos trail e incluso ser miembro de las comunidades.
Confío en Dios que lo lograré, porque en esta plataforma hay mucha gente buena que nos motiva a escribir contenido de calidad.
Así mismo, quisiera poder ahorrar en criptomonedas, cambiarlas por otras como el Bitcoin, obtener ganancias por esta clase de inversiones y sentirme feliz de hacer algo que me gusta y a la vez generar ingresos por ello.

Si!, con la enfermedad todo lo he usado para gastos diarios médicos, es mucho el dinero que se necesita para tratar a un paciente con Covid-19.
Mi casa está sirviendo de habitación de hospital para mi madre, actualmente tenemos una mesa llena de medicamentos, termómetros, oxímetro, neubolizadores, jarabes, inyecciones y esperanzas de vencer esta enfermedad.
Pero confío que pronto obtendré ingresos que me permitirán invertir, crecer económicamente, regalar alegría y poder ayudar a otras personas. Amén
