Cheers to healthy drink my fellow steemians!
Today, I will be sharing my homemade drink recipe. It was my father who taught me this healthy drink recipe. He has started drinking this when he experiences kidney problem and this really helps him to attain healthy lifestyle in his old age.
There are 3 main ingredients of this homemade drink. These are 2 carrots, 2 apples and 1 stem of horseradish leaves.
Carrots are beneficial to our body for it is rich in fiber which help reduce weight, they also have vitamins and minerals for eye health, repair skin tissues and can lower cholesterol.
The same with carrots, apples also are rich in fiber which lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Horseradish or most commonly known in our country Malunggay, is a miracle plant that gives a lot of health benefits to our body, it protects skin, hair, liver and prevents cancer cells. The benefits of these three ingredients were not only proven in research but we have tried and tested this at home.
This is how I prepared a homemade drink recipe:
First I peeled the carrots properly.
Then I washed the carrots, apples, and horseradish for 2 to 3 times.
I sliced the carrots and apples.
I took the apple seeds.
I grinded the horseradish leaves.
I placed the sliced carrots, apples, and grinded leaves of horseradish into the blender but divided it into two. I added 1 cup of cold water. I did the same to the other half.
And that's it... It turned into a super healthy homemade drink.
I transferred it to the pitcher then to the glass.
So the homemade healthy recipe drink is ready to be served.
