Steem Women Club Community: Chain of Goodness I ''Doing Goodness in Varied Ways''

A great day to all steemians!
May we be blessed always in everything we do and continue to spread the blessings we received so we can bring joy to the afflicted especially in this difficult time.

Doing good deeds to other people have various ways, what truly matters is our sincerity and the desire to help.

As a public-school secondary teacher here in the Philippines, it has been my goal to take part in giving assistance even in the smallest way I could ever give, to the school, to the parents, to the students, and to the community.

Being elected as part of the general parent-teacher association I became the voice of the parents to the teachers and to the school. There are really cases that parents cannot come to school due to conflict of work, fare problem, and other important things to do. That is the main problem of some parents cannot follow-up on their children’s school performance and that resulted to lower grades or even failure to 20 percent of our students based from our study since I also led the Continuous Improvement Team of our school. As their voice, I did not just give information on this matter to my colleagues but I also take part.

There were parents who cannot enter the school campus on the allotted time by the teacher, so they just leave their learning modules at the guard house. As my way of helping them, I get the learning modules of my students once a week. I also shared this way to my fellow teachers so they could also take their part.

Some of our parents also cannot read properly. I assisted them in sorting the written outputs by subject area during submission.

I believe that aside from the work-related gestures of spreading goodness to others, we can also extend our help to the community especially to the children.

Together with my co-teachers, we contributed enough amount to share food to the children. Their happy faces also bring us joy.

I hope I inspired women in this community, because goodness repays goodness in unexpected times of our lives.
