It’s December 1st and we get to do one of the most anticipated contests here on steemit. SPUD4STEEM!!! SPUD4STEEM is a monthly powerup contest organized by @kiwiscanfly where we powerup STEEM on the 1st of every month. Winners are chosen based on the percentage increase their powerup has contributed to their STEEM POWER. Winners stand the chance to win upto 32,000SP delegation for 21 days and other surprise prizes.

2 days ago, I made a post announcing my intention to join SPUD4STEEM for the first time. You can read this post here. Before I did my SPUD4STEEM Power Up today, this was my wallet below. I had no STEEM and 18.6SBD and 2,110SP.

Converting SBD into STEEM

I Started by converting all my 18SBD into STEEM in the procedure below.

I clicked on SBD, and selected market.

In the internal market, I entered my 18SBD and accepted the lowest ask to fasten the transaction.

This was my wallet after I converted my SBD to STEEM. I got 182STEEM for my 18SBD.

POWERING UP STEEM

I clicked on STEEM, and selected Power Up.

Then I entered the amount of STEEM I wanted to power up which was 182STEEM and I hit power up.

After my Power Up, I now have 2,293SP.

Increasing My Delegation To @steem-ghana

I made a commitment that everytime I did a significant powerup, I would increase my delegation to communities I love. With this power up, I will once again be increasing my delegation to @steem-ghana. Initially, I was delegating 100SP as can be seen from the screenshot below.

I open steemworld and I increase my delegation to 150 Then I enter my active key to confirm.

I am thrilled to have participated in this months SPUD4STEEM and I hope more steemians from this community join the contest next. Myself, I plan to have had not less than 5,000SP to celebrate my one year on steemit in April next year. I look forward to seeing all the amazing entries by other contestants.
