Contest: How Has Steemit Benefitted You Over the Years

Hello everyone, it's yet another opportunity for me to relate with you all through this contest organized by @nattybongo on the topic “ How has steemit benefitted you over the year"indeed steemit is the best platform i have ever come across in my life and the platform has benefited me in numerous ways which I'm going to share with you all.

I was introduced to steemit years ago, and since then i have benefited a lot through content writing. Back then i never know anything about content writing, i don't know how it works, but when my friend introduced me to this great platform i began to learn how to write good and quality content. I have also learned some skills here on this platform and some of the skills I learned are Drawing, cooking, and recycling used material. Since i grow up i never thought of recycling and using materials but with the help of this platform, i have learned how to recycle all the used materials i have at home.

This platform has also thought me how to apply different markdowns and also how to make use of Grammarly whenever I'm writing an article, seriously this has helped me a lot because as a computer science student i never had the chance to learn most of the HTML languages but my encounter with this platform has made me make more research on how to make use of the HTML languages.

Steemit is just like a school to me because, as each day passes i learn new things just by reading through others' articles and also making more research.

Steemit has connected me with a lot of friends. I interact with different people worldwide not just the communication but i have learned a lot from them. I have learned about their culture and some of their special meal. The relationship between me and some of the people i met here is just favorable for me because, whenever I'm having a challenge they away stand out for me and i can't stop appreciating this wonderful platform for giving such amazing people to be part of my life.

Steemit platform has assisted me a lot financially. Since i joined the platform i stopped depending on my parent for financial support because what i gained here in steemit settled most of my bills. Also, i was able to save some money in steemit which helped me in terms of emergencies. Currently, I'm a chef and I'm proud to say that this platform helped me in archiving this dream of mine.

Not just that, the phone I'm using currently using now, i bought it a month after i joined steemit also i have used some of my earnings here to support my family as well.

Last year, when I was about to come for my service here in Kwara State, my Mum was not that financially stable to meet up to all depends but i was not disturbed at all because i know where i can get help, I started participating in numerous contest, diary game and more. To the extent, I was able to get all the necessary things I needed for my journey. Seriously the financial help i get from this platform can not be over emphasis and i won't get tired of sharing this good news with the world.

In conclusion, steemit has done a lot for me and the love i have for the platform can not be over emphasis. To be frank with you all back then i don't know how to save but my encounter with the platform has taught me how to save and some basic things about life which i never know of.
