Introduction

My story comes with the idiomatic phrase "Never judge a book by its cover" meaning that you should not judge someone or something based on what we see on the outside or what we perceive without knowing the full situation. It also means that the outward appearance of something or a person is not an indication of its value or worth.

It comes from the idea that you may see just the cover of a book and decide that it is not a good book or that it is not worth reading without knowing anything else about the book.

Now let read the touching story

A medical doctor entered the hospital in a hurry after being called in for an urgent operation.

He answered the call as soon as possible and changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block.

On arriving to the hall, He saw the boy’s father moving up and down in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing the doctor, He yelled at him,
“Why did you waste so much time?
Were you not told that my son’s life is in danger? Is it that you have any sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled and said to him, “I am sorry sir, I was not in the hospital when I received the call and I came as fast as I could after receiving the call.
I wish you could calm down so that I can do my work”

The boy's father reply the doctor by saying "You mean I should calm down?! What if it was your son that was in this room right now, would you calm down?
If your son dies right now what will you do?”

The doctor smiled again and replied him that he will say what Job said in the Bible
‘From dust we came and to dust we will return, blessed be the God's name ”.

He also told him that doctors cannot prolong lives that he should go pray for his son, that they will do thier
best by God’s grace”.

The boy's father murmured say “giving advises when we are not concern is so easy”

The surgery took some hours after that the doctor went out happy telling the man to thank his goodness! that his son is saved.

And without waiting for the father’s reply the doctor went on his way running.

He told the man to asked the nurse what ever questions he has.

The man commented saying “Why is this doctor so arrogant? He couldn't just wait for some minutes so that I can ask him about my son’s state”

When the nurse came out few minutes after the doctor left.
The nurse answered him tears coming down her face,

“His son died yesterday on his way returning from school in a road accident and he was in his son's burial when we called him for your son’s surgery.
And now that he has saved your son’s life, he left running so as to finish in his son’s burial.

Conclusion

We should never judge anyone because we never know how their life is and what they are going through in life.
