INTRODUCTION

Hello my great colloquies, how are you all doing over there? Hope you are all well? It is my pleasure to take part in this contest that is organized by @oppongk and at the same time, I am glad to visit @steem-ghana again this week. It is indeed one of its kind, of which I believe that any steemians need to take part in it, as it concerns all of us. Please permit me to share my opinion below about “three things that really define a steemians”, as it is the topic of this contest.

THREE THINGS THAT DEFINES A STEEMIAN

There are a lot of things that define a steemians, but for the sake of this contest which demands just three, I’ll do justice to it with the following points:

BLOGGING

A steemian is a blogger and being a blogger calls for so many things. One of such is consistency in posting content, in other words, He or She needs to be active, being frequent on his or her own page putting up quality content that would be of benefit to both steemians and even visitors who are not yet to become a steemian.

Sometimes it might warrant collective research on a particular subject, digesting it and coming up with something new instead of plagiarizing other people’s content. And if at all a user was to use a picture or info that doesn't belong to him or her, a steemian would make reference to where the information or picture was taken.
We are also aware that one of the key purposes of a blogger is to make a profit while posting content. A steemians is not exceptional in this category, they also aim for profit through voting/curation. But what about when there is no voting on their contents or maybe a low vote which is different from what they expected? For example, like last week, there were not many votes, or sometimes, votes were very low on some occasions.

It will call for strong/real steemians to continue posting or writing quality content irrespective of facing that hard knock of little or no votes.So, at this point, a real steemians is untiring and consistent in his/her content posting until the goal is achieved. So, the bottom line here is: A real steemians need to be active, consistent, and untiring.

PAY ATTENTION TO INSTRUCTIONS

One good quality that makes one a steemian or a good steemian is the ability to listen, comprehend and act on instructions. Little wonder then why this contest carries instruction that would serve as a guide to all the participants. The same thing applies to when we join a community. There are always some pinned messages which serve as a guide to all the subscribers of that group.

A real steemian would give attention to such instructions in other to succeed in his/her pursuit in the steemit platform. Because, without giving attention to such, such person can’t succeed in this platform. For example, lately, there have been instructions about constant power-up which governs the idea of #club5050, club75, and club100.
The essence of this is to help steemians to save up his/her rewards or invest which in turn would be of benefit to them, it may further attract good votes. This would also help the ecosystem to be strong and increase in value.
Another example is the application of well-formatted content otherwise known as the application of markdowns. A real steemians knows that the way his/her content displays matters a lot as that would aid in a smooth reading of such an article. A steemians would always put this into consideration as well. A steemian would always read another fellow steemian’s post in other to learn or contribute. In a nutshell, anything related to quality content falls under this table, and the ability to follow all these also defines who a steemians is.

PROMOTING

When one discovers what is good, that person would always want to tell others about it by all means. The ability to promote steemit to other folks who have not discovered this platform is one feature that defines a steemian. Little wonder then why most steemians engage in promotional activities in other to create awareness.

CONCLUSION

The above information is just a few ethics that define a steemian, and I would say, if you are not found wanting in any of the above-listed criteria, then you are doing well, on the steemit platform and I would say, keep it up.
