Hello people of steemians i greet you all. I am @successjoh from Nigeria, am very much happy to see this contest that was organized by @silencewan.

Today i am participating with you family of @steemgaha community in sharing with you all my village cultural dance of the year, i hope i am welcome and i also humble my self before you MOD and ADMIN in sharing my cultural video.
With my story narrate this my village cultural dance is called ekpe by Igbo name which we usually do every first week of January, it use to be an enjoy dance.

NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
The man for the day use to cut goat once, if he failed to cut once he will be punished by the village people and he will also buy a goat for the village committee.

He will cut goat for 6 years, the 7th years he will be organize a special dance that he will cut a ram which the community we give him seven number of machete that he will use to cut ram, and he will choose by him self the number that he will like, after that dance he will not participate again

January this year this was how my village cultural festival went, which many people in difference dress came and watched for the dance and it was very interested.
The next fresh year their we be another selection which another man we take over.
That is all about my short story village cultural ekpe dance writing, thank you for my participating with you guys in today contest.
