Successful Meeting On Telegram, Our Journey On Steem So Far & The Way Forward For Good Contents, Steem Power Building & Curation of Members

Dear Steemit Team!,

You are welcomed to @steem-ghana Community! It is our core mandate as Team to hold weekly meetings on Discord or Telegram. The Discord was our first chatting instrument, but we found out that most of our Newbies are not use to the operation of voice chat which could enable us hold our meetings. Now, we have created our Telegram voice chat and text, which we think it usage is simple and quick. You can link up with us via here. Thanks to @mcsamm who brought this idea of holding Telegram meetings and finally supported with the creation of Steem-Ghana Telegram voice chat 🙏.

The meeting commenced at exactly 7 pm where most members were able to joined at the exact time. Seven(7) members of our team were present online, but later 4 added up making Ten (11). The meeting took about 1 hour 30mins.

Many things were shared there. Amongst these were:

• How every team member is finding his or her journey in Steem, more especially the Newbies among us. How was posting and curation rewards went for him or her for the last 7 days as well as his or her expectations. Most most contributed on how their day with Steemit went and their future expectations. Team members tried to put modalities in place to capture all posts.

• Another point that was also noted was how to use @steem-ghana account effectively for curation, when we realized that most of the Newbies are not benefited since the Community keeps increasing while our power is also down to give Steem Mana for everyone.

• There is a way out in building our Steem power of Steem Ghana account through diverse means. Some of the areas we tackled were; delegating our Steem power and also using Steem Ghana Account to write quality post at least every week or twice every week.

• We also encourage members to make conscious effort to donated the 10% beneficiary to Steem Ghana as we have already started. We encouraged the expert making barges to help attach barge one the user name of every contributor. This is one way that would motivate members to continuously donate the 10% to Steem Ghana.

We all agreed to hold our next and all subsequent meetings on Saturday 7:30 pm. As this would be feasible for many Team members to join.
