Welcome to @Steem-ghana's Blog

We would say, much thanks to @steemitblog and @steemcurator01 for much love the have shown for our Community. Without their help, advice and motivation, our Community would have nothing. We can vehemently say that our Community is thriving well, we now have over $3,000SP that gives a voting weight of $0.03. We have at least few amount of Steem which we anticipate that by the said date of the meet up, we would be getting the required amount of Steem to cater for the cost of this meet up.

We would like to also appreciate the great support and suggestion made by @steemcurator01 that it would be best to set 10% Steem Beneficiary for @steem-ghana Account. Now, members have began their donation of 10% Beneficiary set for the Account. As you said, this is going to support our plans for meet up coming New Year. We hope to let this be a mega one. Before this can happen we would continue to urge all Steem Ghana members to remember and set Our Community Accounts as 10% Beneficially. Our Activeness still remains 49, while we have about 55 subscribers.

Our Meetup Date Now Sealed as 18th Dec. 2020

We have mutually agreed on the date for our meetup on 18th December 2020. We have chosen this date base on many grounds which we thing this day would help. We first decided on having the Meetup on 19th December 2020 which is Saturday, but we saw that most of our members are having programs fixed on that day. That's is we thought it would be best bringing it to 18th December 2020.

So, we would like to officially make it known to @steemitblog, @steemcurator01 and all the Steemit Team that our Meetup date is 18th December 2020.

The Venue & Why It Was Selected

Over the weekend, @mcsamm, @nattybongo and @anaman worked so hard searching many venues we opted for, among these were well Kumasi mall, Rottray and others. Not knowing that there was also another beautiful and ornamental place we would love to meet there and make a lot of fun. The place is called : " Saphire Gardens" It is located at Atesomanso- Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. We can get the details of this place from @mcsamm's post here.

We have chosen Saphire Garden simply because you don't pay fees for entry unlike others which demand fees. At Sapphire, one can get a large place for refresh himself or herself. The place is also beautiful.

Cutting down Our Budget Between 500ghc to 600ghc.

Instead of the previous budget made by @oppongk, through deliberately by members and advice taken form @steemcurator01, we have cutdown our budget. We believe between 500ghc to 600ghc can cater for some snack for members who would attend the meet up. We are in any case planning if this budget can cater for some food that would be prepared by Saphire Canteens to serve us. This is to enable us reserve more funds for future Meetups and programs.

Nice dish like this do we prefer all from Saphire Garden

The T-shirts

The Steemit T-shirts and their features have been launched. We again thank our Brother @mcsamm and other supporters who are working so hard for the success of this meet up. The T-shirts would be pre-financed so that when members come to the meet up, they would pay.

Agenda for the Meetup

There are many things we have planned doing when we meet. We haven't finished the exact things we wake to do. But we would coil around how Steem users can blog and earn money as we have written at the back of our Steemit T-shirt. We will also touch on some of the projects we will do to earn more rewards. Lately we have seen @steemitblog organising so many contest and challenges to promote Steem. We can also do something in our area to support Steem.

We would still encourage more members, those who are active and inactive to compile their list. We are by this post informing members to join. Tell your friends and love one s to come and enjoy with us.

Thank you very much for this latest update on the meet up which will be commencing on the 18th December, 2020. It will be very good if we go there with our numbers to support and share ideas on how to make steem-ghana mega.

Yes, we really hope to meet and share ideas about how we can grow as team.

Thank you so much for compiling this @oppongk.

This is a great opportunity for us all to converge and discuss issues concerning the progress of our community.

We hope everyone will turn up in their numbers in order to make this a huge success.
