Hello fellow steemians. My regards goes to steem Ghana community and other communities across the world.
But first of all, I will like to give thanks to the Almighty Allah for keeping us well and alive. I will also like to give thanks to all steemians here and I will encourage everyone to continuing steeming on.

It's yet another great contest organized by our noble leaders in the steem ghana community,a special thanks to @magcarnie and @njaywan.
First of all,we ask ourselves what an investment means. Investment is the allocation of money with the intention of getting position benefit in the future.
In other words, Investment can be an asset or things we bought in hope that,it will generate appropriate in value at some point in the near future.

What is Steem?
Steem is a social blockchain that grows communities and make immediate revenue streams possible for user's by rewarding them for sharing content. Steem can also be describe as a blockchain-base blogging and social media website,which reward it's user's with the crypto currency STEEM for publishing and curating content. Steem is a base token of STEEMIT,a blockchain-base social media platform that allows publishers and creators to monetize their content.

Investment on steem can simply be explained by my own words,as the allocation of steem,SBD with the intention of getting positive benefit in the future. Steem blockchain can be use to invest,as far as the market is not stable, leaving your steem,SBD will bring much benefit in future. Because if you have about 1000 steem in your wallet, and 1 steem is Gh¢3.27. If you leave it for some months when the price moves to 1 steem =Gh¢5, with 1000 steem, you will be having Gh¢5000, that will be something huge.

The ways one can invest in STEEM.

The first step on the road to trading is to find a broker that accepts STEEM. These are online platform that facilitate the instant opening and closing of market position on a wide variety of asset,this, enabling traders to orchestrate their strategies comfortably.While lots of brokers specialized in trading cryptocurrencies.

How to buy STEEM.

If you want to buy STEEM tokens,here are some examples of how to do it;

STEP 1:Creat an account as an exchange that offers STEEM: Compare the exchange that list STEEM and create an account at the one that best suits your needs.

STEP 2: Deposit fun into your account:Most crypto exchanges only accept cryptocurrency deposits. As BTC is one of the most popular currencies and is a common pairing of other coins or tokens, you can use BTC to buy less common crypto currencies such as STEEM.

STEP 3:Buy Steem:Click through to the"Exchange" or "market" selection of your trading platform and search for STEEM currency pairing you want to trade.Click on "buy steem" and enter the number of STEEM tokens you wish to purchase.

You can also buy STEEM by using your SBD in your steem wallet.

Steem dollar(SBD):This currency is pegged to the US dollar, and when a user creates popular content,he or she can choose to receive 50% of the payment in Steem Dollars.

Steem Power:Steem Power is STEEM tokens that have been vested,which means they can't be sold for 13 weeks. Steem Power is into two,Power up and Power done.

Power Up; Is the conversion of STEEM to steem power.

Power down; Is the conversion of STEEM power to steem.

Things to consider before buying STEEM..

*Supply: According to CoinmarketCap, the circulating supply of STEEM tokens at sometime was 256,157,558 out of the total supply of 273,131,652.Steem began start creating new tokens at an inflation rate of 9.5% for first year.

*Steem use:You can use STEEM tokens to increase your curation power within the STEEMIT.

*Powering up:You can increase your steem power with steem tokens by powering up. Once you once you decide to redeem STEEM tokens you need to power down and your token.

*Availability:Steem tokens are available on a hand full of exchange.

*Market competition:It is also worth considering whether there are any similar project in competition with steem that could that could affect demand for the steem tokens.
