HELLO EVERYONE

Its always so good to be here, i hope you all are doing very well, even as we gradually come to the end of the year. I want to use this medium to appreciate all the admin of this great community the likes of @nattybongo and the rest. @steem-Ghana is moving forward and appreciate for having me here.

This contest organised by @kookd and @oppongk its really a very interesting one and i want to appreciate them for organising it. Alot of steemians has been asking questions about the support from curators and i think this contest and its various entries will help in clearifying the questions.

In oder to understand the ingredients to add to a post in other to get #club5050 support, there is a need to understand what #club5050 simply means.

It is no longer a news that #club5050 is an initiative from the steemit team. It was launched in order to encourage the habit of savings through powerups. So the #club5050 is all about powering up 50% of whatsover you transfered out and includes 50% of your earnings within the range of one month. This is done by powering up your steem. You can decide to buy steem and powerup or you can decide to convert you SBD to steem and powerup.

The club initiative has proven to be very fruitful as so many has been able to powerup and have more steem power.

MY FIRST INGREDIENT

• HAVE A GOOD AND VALUE ADDED CONTENT

This is my first ingredient and is so important. Dont just write because you are a part of the club no! You must think about the content you need for a post you want to write about. Write down your content in points maybe on a book before typing. Think on this things is the content adding any value to the reader? Does it add value to the platform? if your content fits into the listed question then you can proceed with it but if not, then change the content and look for contents that are good and value added.

I think the curators look out for this ingredient. Do you know you can actually be detailed doing the wrong things? Yes ! So the first thing is not been detailed but it is to have a good content and value added. Each time i make a post i always ask myself Does my content drive home value to whoever will read my post?

MY SECOND INGREDIENT

• PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TITTLE

Tittles of anything are so important. No matter how interesting a book or movie is, if the tittle is not properly given, so many people will not want to read it. Therefore, you should pay attention to the tittle of the post you want to make.

After getting your content ready the next thing should be to give the post a title that fits into your content.

Pls note that your tittle should not just be catchy but it should fit into what your content is talking about. The aim is not just to attract the curators to your post but for them to support your post. Imagine if you just use a catchy tittle that does not portrays the message in your content? The curators will be attracted to your post but after reading it will leave disappointed without supporting your post. So your tittle and contents should agree!!

I feel the key point of your content should be the tittle of your post.

MY THIRD INGREDIENT

• PLAGIARISM FREE

One emphasis on steemit is for one's post to be free from plagiarism. Just incase you are reading my post and you are new, pls note that plagiarism is a serious crime here on steemit, so do all you can to stay away from it.

Plagiarism is simply taking the work of another writer as your own without referencing the original owner. It could be picture, or writing words.

So one ingredient to add to your post is to make post that are plagiarism free contents. If you must take from people then you must reference them by putting a source below what you have taken.

MY FOURTH INGREDIENT

• GOOD MARKDOWN STYLE

Another very important ingredient. I think that everyone by now should be conversant with markdown, but if not then i recommend that you go and do achievement post 4. It contains the various markdown styles.

Markdown talks about our post editing, how a post is presented. In terms of center alignment, tables, center headings and so on..

The use of Markdown gives our post this very nice looking appearance.

I think ingredient is essential if not it wont be one of the achievement task here on steemit, so it should be taken seriously if we want to be supported by the curators.

CONCLUSION

The initiative of #club5050 has come to stay, the earlier we all embrace it the better. I was supported by curators for the month of November and i bet i will get more support. I encourage all steemians to be a part of this move because in turn it helps the system keeps balance and helps the individual become more valuable with their steem power.
