Hello everyone,

In order for us to appreciate any relationship we may find ourselves in, it is very important that we first of all establish trust. Without this basic foundation, the relationship will surely be shaky and is possibly doomed to fail.

The question therefore becomes, what is trust? Trust is a big word and comprises of many components. Some of these components include: honesty, desire, harwork, transparency, and so on.

Trust they say is earned. This means that it cannot just be given to you when you call upon it. Instead, you need to show that you deserve it. And this is why it has several branches or components.

Before you gain the trust of another person, you need to be open to them and never hide anything from them, in other words lie to them. That way, they are sure about whatever decision they plan to include you or they are sure about anything they do around you.

Once someone starts having doubts about you or starts second-guessing any decision they want to take concerning you, you have most likely lost their trust and it is surely going to be very hard to retrieve it back.

Know that even when you are forgiven for betrayal, it is going to be nearly impossible to mend the wound that has been created. This is why we need to cherish the trust people instill in us and do everything within our power to uphold it.
