Contest Entry: Some Questions people Ask me Anytime I Talk to Them About Steem

Hello friends, happy New Week to everyone here and the steemit block chain at large, and may it be fruitful to all of us🙏🏼.

I am very happy for this contest, because it will help us bring out the understanding we have about steem to those who have only little knowledge about.
In our daily activities, even if we don't promote steem in a organized or official manner, there are instances where we will talk about it and people will and inline with that, there are lots of questions they may ask you or that will definitely run through their mind, such as;

• What is steemit and what is it all about?
• It is a network marketing site just like SuperLife International and Max International?
• Do you need to join steemit with money?
• Do you need to refer a friend in the name of gaining bonuses?
• What do you need to join steemit
• How is payment done in order to earn income?

I don't also hesitate to answer them, with my knowledge about steemit, I just calm down and give them comprehensive answers.

MY RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS

First and foremost, when I am asked "What is Steemit and what is all about?", I confidently tell them; steemit is a social media platform just like Facebook and WhatsApp, where users meet to share informations about anything and earn income by blogging. Steemit is all about earning crypto coins when on blogs original and attractive works. It's crypto coin is STEEM.

Secondly, "Is it a network marketing site?". This is not a difficult question to be answered, so I simply tell them NO it is not a network marketing site, and redefine steemit for them.

Third question, they also ask me a question about if one needs to join steemit by registering with money. I simply answer them by saying NO yo don't need to. In joining steemit, you don't need to use any money to join, if anyone tells you to bring money so that he or she will register for you, just know be aware that the person is going to dope you. The only time one spends money on steemit is, maybe to buy internet bundle or use it for other expenses such as printing of promo stickers, banners or T-shirts. So no payment is required to join steemit.

Furthermore, "Do you need to refer anyone for the purpose of obtaining bonuses?" The answer to this question is simply NO. You do not need to invite any body using your referral code for the purpose of obtaining bonus. You simply do your free registration and start with your bogging. The only thing one needs to do is to power up to increase your voting power and also post good quality, copyright free content to increase your chance of obtaining strong and high votes, which gives you much income.

Continuing, the other important question they ask is "What do you need to start steemit?" The answer I give them, there are only two main devices one needs to start register and become a Steemian. First one needs a good mobile phone, in the sense that is has good Network, strong battery, and has a later space as one will be performing lots of tasks. The mobile phone is the basic and compulsory device one needs, it is what you will use to verify your account through SMS and Gmail. With a mobile phone, you can't start steemit. The other device is a personal computer, which has much space than the personal computer. One can perform all steemit tasks without the personal computer using smartphone.

The most and major question a person will ask a steem-promoter is, "How is payment done to earn income?" This is actually a simple question one can give to his or her audience without hesitating.
There are two major ways one can obtain steem on the block chain; through votes and through delegation. When you create a very nice content on the platform, you are voted up by other Steemians, and through their votes, you can obtain Steem Dollars (SBD) which is later then converted to steem.

I bought 73.323 steem with 4.354 SBD

The Steem is the used to power up the account, sent to other users or transfered to Binance which becomes Bitcoin and then sold out for cash.

Just like any other crypto coin, steem also rises and falls so it is good to sell anytime it rises to earn much income.
One can also obtain Steem, when you perform a task and it's awarded to you as part of the winners.

I also tell them some of the rules and regulations guiding steemit and it's users.
I make them know that;

• Plagiarism which is act of taking someone's work as your own without giving them credit, is highly prohibited. Only original contents are required. One can be banned from some communities or from taking part in some contest.

• Security keys that are used to operate the account must be kept secrete from other users, as they may hack your account. They must be kept in a place such that one can easily get access to them. Lost keys are not recoverable.

• All rules guiding contests must be strictly followed to start a chance of winning a contest or obtaining higher votes.

The above are some of the questions people ask me and answers I give them anytime I am promoting steem.
