The Diary Game : 28/11/2020 - Shopping with My Kids in Kamasi
My decision to come and change my Kids sandals has been finalized. The sandaals are too small in sizes for them to wear. By this time, I decided to go to Kumasi, where I purchase with them so that they can wear them for accurate measurement. This made us woke up very early prepared ourselves to set off.
We first took our bath as early as 5:10 am. By 5:30 am we had finished dressed up. We said bye bye to their mother. We walked to the station to pick Urvan, it was Samyoung rather. We were lucky, it was left with one passenger to add up making full. I exchange my 10ghc fare for ticked. In Ghanaian it's a little difficult travelling with Kids, since we normally let them sit on our lap, instead of paying for seat for them. We consider that they are under age to be allowed to pay fare. There wasn't space to fix Adubea & Darkwa in front of me. One good lady helped me and took Darkwa on her lap. In fact this was the first time traveling with them in such a long journey.
But I was very happy taking them to Kumasi since they would learn so many things. On our way, they were very curious to know everything they see, bill boards, statues, pics and many others. We arrived in Kumasi when it was 8:10 am. The first thing I did when we alighted was to allow them to urinate at the urinal where we paid just 20peswas. We went to acheamfour station, where there is a nice canteen. We took plain rice with stew, beef and egg. Now, this is where the difficulty lies, we had to pass through the crowds form KO through Kejetia terminal to Roman Hill where I bought the sandals. That place there was no chance to pick car, I had to take Darkwa on my check, and held Adubea on my hand. We walked slowly to the place.
We finally got to the place, the sandal seller was very happy to have brought the Kids. Because she promised to exchange them for me if they wear and the sandals don't fit the Kids. She gave us seat to sit. She collect the ones I first bought. I asked her to bring sizes 31 & 32 to try on Darkwa's foot. When we tried, the size 32 was good to fit him. For Adubea, she had to change that brand, since the woman doesn't have similar one there. I allowed her to select her best that she like. She chose different one that is also beautiful, that the model is similar to the first one I bought. But the back is black, while the front is red. We assisted her to wear, wow!, it was also perfect fitting her. The size is 34. We were so excited to take pictures with the scene.

It was took early to come home, though have accomplished our mission. The Kids were very young when we brought them here. They couldn't observe or took note of certain things since they were very young. This is the chance for them visit some important places in Kumasi. So I decided to take them to "Melcom" right from this place. It was 9:15 am, still morning. We took a walk through the overhead got to Adum. Still the crowds are increasing, so I carried Darkwa on my chest, held Adubea on my hand.
We passed in from of Prudential Bank. We finally got to Melcom shop. That is very big shop with different kinds of items, from Kids to Adults. We did not intend shopping there, it wasn't part in my Agenda, but the Kids were pointing at many items when we went there. There are many things here; fridge, TV, fan, beverages, bake food , Christmas items and many more. We went to a place where they sell Xmas flowers and trees, father Christmas hat & clothes. Here I bought 2 hats for them. We went to provision beverages side where I bought some biscuits, donsimon and chilled ice cream for them.

After touring through the shop for a while, buying all that we want, we came and paid for the items. Here you can select any thing that you want. By then there are CCT cameras around that capture everything going on in the shop. So it's difficult for one to run away with the items bought. I think the whole thing cost 30ghc. We settled them and left the place.

We were now heading our Station- Acheamfour Station. On the same way, we passed to Jolly Phones where I purchased. One Samhe B310 phone which cost 40ghc.

We used about 3 hours for all these rounds. We finally arrived at the Station to pick a car. It was now 11:41 am when I checked my time. It was left with last passenger for the car to move. So I quickly collected the ticket. We had the seat closed to the entrance door. I took Darkwa to sit on my lap while Adubea sat in front of me where they made some small box. The car set off. Because of traffic Jam, the car passed through Mosi zongo and some other places before we got to Pankrono main road.
We arrived home safely when it was 1:14 on, less than 2 hours. It rained on our way till we reached to the house. The weather was very cool. My wife was so happy to see us back home safely. We removed our clothes since we were wet due the the rain. We removed all the items we bought from Kumasi. We had our last shot of the items bought.

The Kids relaxed in room while sucking their ice cream. We are then waiting for heavy food. My wife had by then prepared joloff rice. Because of the ice cream they felt not to take the lunch. I took small and relax in my chair since I was very tired. I couldn't take more pics again for the rest of activities due to tiredness.
That ended today's Diary. Wait patiently whiles I bring you my next update of Diary game. We have a lot to share with you in this Xmas festivity. Watch out for more...😁!!!
