THE DIARY GAME - 31ST DECEMBER, 2021 - WENT TO THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE AT ADUM, GETTINGS SOME AFRICAN BEADS FOR A FRIENDS & GETTING A JEANS AT THE MAIN MARKET

Greetings everyone,

Today is the last day of the year and as such, people are going to visit the church and mosque one last time within the year. The streets were quite busy with traffic on the main roads as people rushed towards town.

This usually occurs when it is a weekday or a holiday is approaching whereby people would be travelling to their hometowns to celebrate it.

I came to the Adum area today mainly because of a business certificate I have been pursuing for some months now. At first, I would only be told that it wasn't ready but I was given a date which was a few days ago to come for it. So it was my hope that if there happened to be any delays, It should be ready by now.

I arrived at the Registrar General's department around 11 a.m but upon arrival, their main door was locked. I therefore went around and entered to make my enquiries.

The whole atmosphere was looking like Christmas considering the time of year we are in. I entered the main office and met with one of the consultants.

He told me that my certificate was still labelled pending and awaiting verification. I did not know what this meant since it did not give a specific time within which it will be ready.

I was then told to return on the 3rd January when they will all be back from break.

After leaving this place, I went to the african traditional area where cultural materials that depict our heritage are sold and put on display.

Today, I was particularly interested in the beads that we put on our hands since a friend of mine expressed interest in them. I couldn't find precisely the ones I was looking for but I bought two of them all the same.

Once I was done in this area, I went towards the Kejetia market to one of their shops in the area.
They had jeans of all kinds and their materials were quite durable.

I have been looking for a particular jeans for some time and fortunately enough, I found some today. It was of good quality and of a great price of 120 cedis.

It was also my size which is 38 so I bought it from the shop.

I then went towards the market station to get a ride back home.
