THE DIARY GAME : 9TH FEBRUARY, 2022 : BUSY DAY. PICKING UP A PARCEL AT THE O.A STATION, GOING TO THE TRADITIONAL SMOCK WORKPLACE, VISITING THE MECHANIC, & MAKING MOBILE MONEY TRANSACTION.

Greetings everyone,

I was quite busy today with some rounds that I needed to finish. These included, dropping some friends at the O.A Bus station parcel office, going to the traditional smock workplace, visiting the mechanic, making mobile money withdrawal, etc. Let's go through my day.

Today, I got a phone call from a close friend of mine Sammy, who said there were some t-shirts that he had to receive from the O.A parcel office in town. This was because their church was going to have a program soon that he had been put in charge of.

And since I was already on my way to town myself to finish checking on the travigator light on my bike, I offered him a ride to the bus station.

From there, I went to the mechanic once again since the fault with the lights I wanted to fix the last time still persisted. It seems that while he was trying to work on the travigator the other time, he ended up damaging some wires.

It was today that he saw what he did and had to correct his mistakes. I therefore parked at the workshop and decided to come back later for the bike.

While I was waiting to come back for it, I decided to pay a visit to a smock workshop in the area. This is where there is a hand stitching team that work on all kinds of the attire.

They have different ways of dealing with it which include the smock only or the smock + the hat. It is simply a great traditional attire that is worn on important occasions.

I first inquired about the price of the smock and they said it costs 400 cedis (165.2 steem) but depends on the type of smock I am looking for.

I had some further conversations with the man in charge in an attempt to negotiate and he said if I want him to do one for me without the hat, then he could charge me 300 cedis (125 steem) for it together with the workmanship.

I told him I will think about it and get back to him.

Once I was done, I left the place and went to a nearby mobile money vendor so that I could do a withdrawal for the payment of the work they had done on the bike.

The total cost was 35 cedis for their services (14.58 steem) so I paid and left the place afterwards.

I was quite happy to have been able to finally work on the bike and remove the problems it was giving me out of the way. I hope there wouldn't be any such problems in the future.
