It’s a pleasure to be granted an opportunity like this to write about the Ghanaian movie I have ever watch @rubilu123, and fortunately I have watched a lot of Dagbani movies. And the one that captivate me most is Asadachi. It’s a Dagbani movie acted in 2005.
Some of the Cast are;
Siiba, Zimboo, Mr. Razak, Sayida, Dakoli, Polingog’ etc.
Hence, the title of the movie am to write is:

ASADACHI(BRIDE PRICE)

Mr. Siiba and Zimnboo are millionaires who happen to be the head of their families. Siiba had sons called Mr. Razak and Polingog, and Zimboo had a daughter called Sayida and a cousin called Dakoli. But Razak and Sayida are both in the tertiary, while Polingog and Dakoli were good friends as their parents. Polingog was in a relationship with one lady, which was very tight. So one day, a friend of their’s lied to Polingog that Dakoli also want the lady and even had an affair with her, but Polingog didn’t take his time to make enquirers to find the truth but harassed Dakoli, but Dakoli tried to explain things to him but naa, he wasn’t getting it so they fought and unfortunately Polingog killed Dakoli. The news got home and Zimboo said naa he will not understand, unless he average what happened. Already, Zimboo was a tough and wicked man who doesn’t let things go easy. Hence, the two families became enemies.

But, unfortunately the two children in the technical school fell in love to each other, which the chemistry was very covalent. But their families wasn’t seeing each other’s face. So both of them are against their relationship.

Unfortunately, Sayida got pregnant and it was Mr. Razak’s baby, the situation got tense. Zimboo want Sayida to abort the foetus while Mr. Razak and Sayida want the baby.

Now is the responsibility of the two children to unite the families, and for that to happen, they must marry. But the parents are sharing bullets and blows.
Mr. Razak and Sayida tried and both parents came to a consensus to marry them to each other. But, Zimboo said the bride price is 100,000 000 in old Ghana Cedis(10,000 Ghc), because he hate the other family, so is against the other family. And said if they don’t pay he will kill the baby Sayida is carrying.

At the end Siiba will pay the bride price, for their children to marry and safe the two families
Zimboo will forgive the other family, so they will reunite.

Morally, when you hear something don’t take action at the moment or judge, but try to find out the truth and be patient. As in the movie Polingog didn’t take his time scrutinize what their friend told him, which brought all that mess and discord.
