Contentment

We all have dreams, goals, plans, wishes, wants, needs etc. These are some of the basic things that guides our thoughts and our actions, our deeds and who we are or who we become a greatly steeped into these things, they define us in many ways more than one and people who may truly know us can easily point these out.

For instance for someone whose life goals and fulfilment focuses on making money, his priorities would be focused on this accordingly and you may notice that he or she doesn't joke with anything that has to do with money, he works hard when money is involve and wouldn't give much of his attention to anything else.

In another scenario one whose only wish, dream and goal is to live in the states would do everything possible that would get him or her abroad, if it means studying the head of to go using academia they would, if it means making enough money to pay their way through they would.

But there must be a point to which we must learn to be ok, a point where we would want more but if things are not going our way we would still be fine, if we do not have this point, if we do not mark these things in our lives then we may never find contentment and we may probably live our entire lives and not find true happiness and fulfilment.

Contentment lives in the twilight between moderation and being ok, when we are content we do not become greedy, when we are content we do not do what we ought not to do and people do not get to control us because of our ambitions and goals. Remember that life takes time and that whatever you wish to achieve or gain may not necessarily come in a day. So learn to be content today, that way tomorrow will be a bonus.
