The Diary Game : Invitation to a friend’s ceremony : 29th/04/2022
It is the weekend and it means that most family related events such as outdooring, weddings, funerals and many others are bound to happen.
For my friend’s family, this particular weekend was no exception. They had a wedding ceremony to attend in Suame which I got invited so I had to get myself ready as soon as I could.
What they do in Islam is that they separate the male side from the female side. So I went to the male side when I arrived there.

The ceremony started quite well with family members exchanging greetings with one another as they arrived. The main blessing of the wedding was done yesterday during their Friday prayers so today was just about celebrations.
I really admired the way their people showed up for the event. It was actually friend’s cousin who was getting married so it was a great day for him.

After we finished, we went back to their place to escort the newly weds to their new home.
That was it for the occasion and we said our goodbyes.
