HEALTHY LIVING.

We must all have healthy lives. To remain healthy, we must eat balance diet. A balanced diet is food that contains all the essential nutrients. The basic food nutrients are vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, fats and oil, mineral salt and water.

We get vitamins from fruits and what they do to the body is; they protect our bones and teeth. We get proteins from fish, egg, meat etc and they make us alert at all times. Carbohydrates are from bread maize as to mention few and they provide the body with sugar and starch. Fat and oils are slow to digest. Water also helps to digest the food we eat.

Mineral salts are very good for the body.
These are all diets the body needs everyday to keep healthy. We must not eat one type of food the whole day. We must always get a little of each into our bodies to protect us from diseases.
