Activities

Monday is a busy day for any government worker in the sector of education. My first at school with serious academic work since school reopened. I have term it my first day at school because in my village students or the pupils had to work for a whole week on the bushy compound.
The subject of study for the day was English Language with the aspect being Grammar. Since the school is in a deprived area the pupils must be empowered with ability to read and write. The construction of sentences is a major key in the ability to read and write in the English language.

Teachers are said to be role model both in the community and the school as well. Mr Philip Mensah is the Headteacher of the School, addressing his students for the first time when school reopened with his welcome address to his pupils from the one month vacation. He continued that the pupils should take their studied serious and continue to put the safety protocols that is the waering of the face mask, washing your hands under running water for about twenty minutes, the regular use of hand sanitizer and two meters interval in the classrooms in place since the Corona virus pandemic is still in the country.
Before the Headmaster ended up his address, a question was pose: what is education.
